I did open the package to see how it looked etc., I gave this a friend so I haven't used it.

This was a 🎁 for a colleague and he was very pleased.

I bought this for future use of my straight razor, I had already needed it as I bought a straight razor with a poor edge I got to say if you use the stone fully wet after soaking completely for at least 5 min. its a solid hone block.

The stone worked fantastic. It was just what I needed to bring my chefs knife back to life. The rubber base holds well and the leveling stone is a great addition.

Fast delivery, the stones do what they were intended to do, I use them to polish a sharpened blade, finishing up with a 12000 grit agate stone
