This thing only weighs about 1-2 pounds, but is very supportive of your knees on any hard surface. Worth every penny.Nov 17, 2024: Added: I've been using this thing for a while now, and found that while awesome for the knees, it doesn't really work if you need to move around a lot. For example, working on roof shingles requires constantly moving around, and this isn't really designed for that. While kneepads can't hold a candle to this thing for support, they make up for it in convenience. However, if your project keeps you stationary (e.g.: working under a sink), then this is absolutely the way to go.

These are so much thicker and better than the cheaper ones. Love them for car and home projects.

I work in the Home Improvement industry and my knees are getting very sore so I purchased the Genuine Ergo Kneel Handy Mat IIWow, anytime I'm working on my knees I bring the Ergo Kneel mat my knees are starting to heal by using this mat. If you work on your knees you should purchase this mat before you get bad knees do yourself a favor. The mat is soft but not too soft when you're kneeling down on the mat your knees will not touch the floor at all the mat is 1" thick and very resilient. The mat itself is 20-1/2" long x 13-1/2 Wide. Now that I've been using this mat for a while I can't live without it now this was a great buy for me I think it would be good for you as well. I’ve been using one of these for gardening for the last three years, and it hasn’t degraded in the slightest. I’ve tried an assortment of kneelers, and this one is the most comfortable. I just wanted a second one to share with my friend when we gardened together!

I like the size plus it feels really comfortable for the knees and is light weight.👍🏼I will definitely recommend it for tile and hardwood floors installation.
