Love love LOVE this and it was so inexpensive. All in all, this is worth the purchase and highly recommended. Worked great for our pit mix and easily hooked onto her harness. Gave her freedom to move around a bit but not too much to be a distraction to the driver.Context:Our dog loves car rides but cannot sit still most of the time. She tries to jump into the front seat usually and I’d have to hold my arm while driving to block the middle passageway the entire ride. She also loves to run back and forth between windows over my family members and hang half her body out the window. So we needed something to keep her a little more controlled and she’s a pit mix, so it needed to be strong.Item details:The material of the “leash” part is very sturdy. It feels like good quality and I knew immediately that it would hold our dog’s weight. The buckle had me nervous because it felt cheap, but it’s held up twice now so far. Will update if anything happens.The length is pretty good, and allows you to control how much freedom your pup has - though I wish you could adjust it just a little bit shorter. Even close to the shortest you can make it, our pup was able to stretch it in order to sit on the floor behind the driver’s seat (it was hooked over the middle as pictured). For us, it was fine because she wears a harness instead of a collar that hooks in the back but could lead to an unfavorable situation. I think if this was used in the passenger seat, it would also allow your dog to almost crawl into your lap as the driver at its shortest so just an FYI.That being said, still worth the purchase!!

Works wonderfully to keep my fur baby secure in the back seat. I bought this with a seat cover at the same time. Both have been necessities when traveling with our fur baby!

I got on of these a year ago for my Scottie to keep her in the Jeep when I take her for rides with the top down. It works great as she's small and isn't much of a puller anymore.It's very easy to attach, she doesn't get tangled in it, and is nicely adjustable so she can put her nose out of the car and I know she stays safely inside.A few weeks ago we adopted a 1 year Husky, he's still a very energetic boy and loves riding in the Jeep as much as my Scottie does (he's going to go nuts when I can put the top down).He paces the backseat and hangs out the window, so I put the leash in the back for him until I got a new one.One day he hopped out of the car before I got a hold of his walking leash, the leash did exactly what it needed, it stopped him from bolting off. But the adjusting slide broke.To it's credit, it still works. The length can't be adjusted, but it still is working as a leash. I don't trust it with him as he is a rambunctious Husky.It's just not made for big dogs with weight or epic pullers like Huskies. I'm very pleased with the leash, I got another for the Scottie, so I highly recommend it for little dogs.

Works very well. Great invention, wish I had thought of it!! The strap around the headrest is adjustable too that is great. Haven’t actually used it yet but it looks good to me.

this is a must have if you dog likes to put there paws on the middle console like mine! Keeps them in place without being to restrictive. Love the color super light weight and east to use. Comfortable for the dog. Good price from others. Its lasted a long time with no issues.

Used this leash for my dogs to ride in the car during a cross-country move. Easy to secure them in the car and could use as a leash when we stopped for breaks. After the move, we're using the leash to secure our dogs during golf-cart rides in our community.

Works great with her harness, clips to her shoulders and back seat center headrest, my 15lb Maltese mix can rest in her bed, see everything going on and won’t fly forward onto the floor if I stop short.
