This is a lower price point unit, but it met my needs very well. It punched and bound my booklets very well and is solid and very sturdy metal construction. I liked the bar type handle because it allowed the use of two hands to activate the punch mechanism. The binding unit is at the top of the machine and works perfectly. I had no issues with operating it. There is a tray underneath to catch the paper chads. The unit was packed well, came with a small instruction sheet that was helpful. I am using this unit to bind patterns that I purchased on Etsy and it works perfectly. It has three paper size settings as shown in the photos. You can change the settings by turning a knob and sliding the paper edge guide to the line graphic on the bed. It comes with a large box of 3/8” binders in black. They are high quality and easy to cut to size with a regular scissors to fit letter size sheets or smaller. I am glad I did not spend more money on a more expensive unit as this perfectly met my needs.

We ran out of Frog and Toad stories and decided to write our own as a gift for my hubby because he likes to read them to our youngest every night. The book turned out amazing. The bind looked so great! It worked well and was easy to use. It is a bit bulky to have around, but it looks nice so it’s a nice addition to our craft room.

I bought this for homeschooling - it was a good price and cute color so I went with it! I had a horrific time using it; teeth were just a little unparalleled to one another - I contacted customer service and they quickly responded and sent me a new machine. Made a small book effortlessly! So much easier, so I must have gotten a lemon the first time.I have only used it to make small books and I’m new to binding. I made a 75 page math booklet, and used the black binders that came with and it did take a little while bc you can only punch 10-15 pages at once. Bc I used the smaller binders it does come apart when my son is using bc he doesn’t just lay it flat / so you will have to get larger binders if making a book more than 30 pages. We will still use it for small projects they do but I can see how a machine that punches more at once would save a lot of time (especially with 4 kids and making them).But cute, works and we’ll get our use out of it! And great customer service!

I bought this item not sure of what I'd get. However, it turned out to be a worthy item! Its well made and works like a charm! If you want to bind up your stories into book form, like I'm doing, THIS machine is well worth the money!

Used this right away. Easy to punch holes. Directions are lacking on the the binding setup but online videos helped.

This binding machine works as advertised just like the comparable GBC machines . Just remember not to try to punch too many pages at once, it is a light weight punch. The combs that come with it are too long for American 8.5x11 aka letter paper, so I suggest you order the comb pack with the appropriate length combs when you order this product.

I used this binding machine to make yearly calendars for my siblings. It does not punch chipboard well plus the spines that were included only holds approximately 10 sheets of paper. By the time I added the front and back covers, there was room them. I had order some 3/4 in spines.
