Super easy install, could be easier if you read this review
Some of the best, printed in color with great pictures, instructions I’ve ever seen or used, the only way the instructions would have been better is if they didn’t use such a rusty truck for the pictures.I really only have three complaints, and that’s only if I wanted to really try to figure out something to complain about...1) They tell you to screw on the air fitting first, then the next step you flip it over and screw the bottom bracket on. The air fitting just gets in your way and you risk breaking it if you pit it on first. I caught this before doing it and questioned why they have you put it on first, there is no reason, don’t thread the air fitting onto it until AFTER you bolt the bottom bracket on.2) This was all going smooth and easy right up to one of the final steps, then they made me cuss. Putting the two bolts through the mounted top bracket slotted holes and trying to line up the top plate and the threaded holes in the actual air bags all at the same time to get the threads started. Are you ****ing kidding me?!!!!Why did they have to send the “roll plates” as 4?separate parts any how? They should have just manufactured these as part of the air bag top and bottom at the factory. Here’s a tip for anyone getting ready to install these:I would have done this but figured there must be some reason why they leave the top and bottom roll plates as separate parts, there isn’t! The night before you plan to install this line up the holes for the top roll plate with the holes in the top of the air bag and glue it on with silicone or construction adhesive. It will make your life a whole lot easier when it comes time to get the threads started as you’re bolting it all onto the top bracket.3) I have a 3” lift on my Silverado dually. I called Air Lift tech support, waited on hold 45 minutes to talk to someone about if I needed the 2” spacers or the 4” spacers since they don’t make a 3” spacer. Their web site unclearly implies I want more stretch than crush leading me to think I should ise the 2” spacers. Their tech support guy told me the exact opposite, I want more crush than stretch and should use the 4” spacers for a 3” lift so that’s the way I went. I probably didn’t need any spacers what so ever, but if anything should have only went with the 2”. When the spring was fully assembled, without the buy extra spacer, it measured out to be exactly the same distance as the space it was going to fill on my truck that has 3” spacer lift blocks under my leaf springs. If you have a 3” lift consider no spacers at all, at the very most just go with the 2” spacers. With the 4” spacers on my 3” lift even when I just put the minimum 5psi into the bags it lifts the rear of my truck 1” higher than the front with no load on my truck. Even with no air in the bags after first installing it has the rear of my truck sitting noticeably higher than the front because I used the 4” spacers they told me over the phone to go with.

No problems.
I am not a gear head, but have common sense. I watched a couple youtube videos, laid out my project on my floor and installed this thing. It took me longer because I didn't find a place in my 2003 extended cab Duramax to put the air gauge/controller because of the airlines running out the back and stuff. I ended up deciding to run the gauge inside my tool box mounted in the bed of the truck and I mounted my air compressor underneath the tool box in the "void" space between the side of the toolbox and the side of the bed. This keeps the pump out of most of the elements! I decided it wasn't super important to have the gauge in the cab of the truck after reading the countless people who don't even use an on-board compressor, they fill up each bag before a trip and just go! I wanted to be able to adjust the air easily at the campground after dumping my 10,500 pound trailer. The ride with airbags is night and difference when towing a lot of weight. My perfect ride after a couple trips... 26 pounds give or take two. When empty, I keep it on the recommended 5 pounds. I installed these last October before our last long trip of summer. I have had zero problems with them. They hold 5 pounds for 3-4 weeks at a time before the needle just slips to 4 pounds. With the air-compressor gauge/controller mounted on the inside of the toolbox on the driver side, it is real easy to once a week give a peek to insure I am at 5 pounds.I kind of went overkill on running the airlines, I went to Home Depot electrical dept. and bought around 20' of the plastic wire sheathing, I think 3/8" diameter. Anywhere the plastic air hose lines could possibly come in contact with anything is protected in the plastic sheathing. I then zip tied the heck out of everything. I have 5000 plus miles on the truck since October and the lines have not moved. When the instructions say cut a perfect 90 degree cut to the line, they mean it. It took me an hour chasing down a couple leaks with some dish soap in a spray bottle full of water, but I found them, re-cut even though the already appeared to be cut properly and everything eventually worked. When I initially ran the lines, I ran a few inches extra length just to give me room if I ever need to fix something. This worked out nicely because when I pulled lines out and trimmed off a 1/4" at a time I had plenty to reinsert to try and get the good seal. At first I was worried about the plastic fittings, but have had zero issues and it is not like I will be messing with them now that they are installed and holding air.I didn't want to mess with running wires to power the air-compressor into my cab since I mounted the air-compressor and controller in the aforementioned location so I just ran the power straight to the battery accessory bolt in the red box next to my driver side battery. Everything works great and I would buy this product again.
