These candles arrived today and I am very impressed and pleased so far. I had researched several brands and read numerous reviews, and this brand seemed to be rated consistently the highest. As advertised, they are made of real wax!! They come packaged with a thin plastic film around each candle to protect them, but this can be removed. All three candles worked out of the box once I added 3 AAA batteries to each. The remote comes with a battery per-installed. Initially, the large candle did not come on with the remote, but after turning it on and off manually, I was able to control all three. I like the option on the remote to stop the flicker and use the candle as a light. The remote has options for a 4 or 8 hour timer. A tip to save battery life that was mentioned on the instruction sheet is to turn the switch on the bottom of the candles to "off", and not just turn them off with the remote. Apparently, if you only use the remote to turn off the candles, it can result in reduced battery life. These candles come with a 2 year guarantee if purchased from LED Lytes, and from what I can tell, even thought these were purchased on Amazon, they are being sold by LED Lytes!!

Review Updated: Jan 29th 2020Rating changed from 5 star to 2 starI am not sure what the problem is with these candles, but once you put the batteries in them, and leave them in there for a couple weeks, they start to leak and the candles stop working. With the number of batteries I’ve to repeatedly change in each of them, they’ve turned out to be quite expensive.Also, the batteries we’ve been using in them are good quality and not any generic ones. We use the same batteries in other items throughout the house and haven’t had such leakage problems. So it must have something to do with the ops toon of the candle itself.My first impression of the candles was great! But after giving them a try, I wouldn’t recommend these at all.*************I read several reviews on amazon for numerous Flameless Candles, before I finally decided to purchase this particular one. And now I am glad that I actually picked these. They are just as advertised. They are made of real wax. They look very elegant when displayed in a setting. And they operate perfectly to the remote that was provided with it. For the price, they're a steal!Since they were a little cheaper than the others out there, I wasn't expecting an "above average" in quality. But I was surprised as to how well they are made. They feel real, and not like light weight plastic.So far I have only tested its operation. But I plan to actually use them in the near future, and shall revert back if they fall short. But I doubt that at this moment.I am quite happy with my purchase!!!

I'm in love with these LED candles! I have migraines and I'm sensitive to even unscented candles because of fumes and smoke, yet candles used to be a part of my everyday decor and I really missed relaxing with them. I also have a young, frisky cat who loves to knock things over. Imagine how happy I was to find this solution that has no fumes and smoke and is totally safe around the crazy cat. I love that if I have a migraine, I can turn off the flicker and have a steady light, which is easier on the eyes. Or, just turn them all off from bed with the remote! They are made of wax with an uneven lip and the light is nice and far down inside, so they look pretty realistic. The price on Amazon cannot be beat. They were packaged well and arrived in perfect shape. I want another set for my living room!

I'm very pleased with this flameless candles set! I looked a bunch of different options before ultimately purchasing 2 of these sets. The main reason I opted for this one was:1.) If you buy multiple sets, you can use one remote for every candle. I bought 2 sets and use one remote for all of the candles.2.) They are made from real wax, making them appear even more authentic.3.) You can set them to flicker or not flicker, depending on the look you're going for.4.) You can set a timer from a remote to automatically switch off the candles after 4 or 8 hours.5.) They are come in varied heights, which I find more visually appealing.The only negative I can think of is the amber yellow color. In my opinion, it appears more yellow than amber, like a true candle flame, but I truly don't think that distracts from its authentic look.

These have been great! I've used these since my son was born, I purchased 2 sets. I leave one candle on all night so I can see him and I can turn on more as needed to light the room better. The soft glow does not disturb him and the remote allows me to have them all over the room and easily turn on just the ones I want. I use these also when we travel. I have noticed as the battery in the remote is dying it's having a harder time turning on or off the candles from farther away. The candles are wax and can change shape if left in the heat too long. I also received one that a chunk of the wax was broken but didn't feel like returning the whole set and it still works fine.

Very nice candles. Just the right brightness to appear to be a candle. The flickering setting adds to the look. I would have given them a 5 except I was looking for the appearance of wax dripping on the outside for a more realistic look.

These candles are nice in ways described in other reviews but I have other sets that come on automatically at the set time of day. I just assumed that these would be the same but I was mistaken. I like that feature and will buy another brand in the future.

The largest candle is faulty.

Loved these candles.Remote control only works on two candles but overall excellent.
