Separate important circuits
This installed well with my generator . Great price and very well built. Perfect to separate very important circuits when power goes into. Has let the lights on multiple time since installed.

Easy install. Nice quality. Wish door was hinged instead of held with bolt.

Don't trust this company!
Ordered this and within 45 min cancelled. After looking closer I realized this is just a box, no wires no fuse breakers.Needed a true transfer switch with fuses and wired up.They would not cancel the order and said it shipped in the very short time I tried to cancel. Now I have to do a return. Waiting till it comes in just to turn around and bring it to UPS for return. Waste of people's time and money!!!

Good transfer switch critical load panel, but poor warranty support
I use this Automatic transfer switch panel for a critical loads panel, so I can keep these loads powered in an outage. The system does its job, but in a recent outage, the transfer switch coil melted.Speaking with my electrician, he had several of these doing the same thing, and when he approached Generac to invoke the 5 years warranty, they rejected all the claims, saying this failure was not supported???The whole purpose of this product is to switch source during a grid outage which by definition comes with spikes during shutdown or coming back up. So, if the panel fails because of that, one would have assumed the warranty would apply...So product is OK, but manufacturer warranty is NOT....
