As soon as my dog was diagnosed with heart disease, I did my research and decided to buy these capsules. I truly believe they are what kept him off meds for so long and now it's supporting him in his heart failure. They are not a cure-all, merely a support for heart health in addition to the cardiologist prescribed meds. The packaging says you can either feed as a capsule or open it and pour the powder onto their food. My dog will eat just about anything but will not willingly eat these. I have to hide the capsule in treats or canned food. If he accidentally busts it open and gets the powder on his food, he will outright refuse to eat it so the taste is apparently not good.

I give this to my Cavalier every other day typically. I sprinkle it on her food along with her Fera probiotic and Fera pumpkin fiber support which is also a powder. She does not have any heart problems but I give it to her as a PREVENTATIVE since Cavalier King Charles dogs are known to have heart issues. She is 6 years old and is in excellent health, and I'd like to keep it that way. I use 4 other FERA products and they are all excellent. I hope this product is helping as a preventative.

My dog’s vet and I feel that this is a good supplement for her cardiac condition coupled with her RX. Been using it for over a year and her heart condition has continued to be stable.

I think these chews are helping my dog. She has heart murmur and would fall down when she runs or plays. I have been giving her these chews for about a week now. So far she hasn't had another spell even though she's been chasing squirrels and playing with the other dogs.

My nearly 12 year old dog was diagnosed with a stage 2 heart murmur and elevated NTproBNP. I instantly started him on hawthorn berry and coq10. I was unable to find a taurine supplement that he could tolerate.My nearly 11 year old dog hasn’t been diagnosed with any heart conditions but I could see he was slowing down. He lagged behind on walks, didn’t want to wake up in the mornings and couldn’t jump onto the bed anymore.I found this product and bought it. It’s been almost two weeks and although I haven’t had my dog re-evaluated, I can see the difference. Both of my dogs are energetic and happy. Not to mention, this one supplement has a higher dosage of coq10 than what I was previously giving them. I no longer have to buy supplements individually, which makes it easier to administer. They eat just fine with it sprinkled onto their food.I will definitely be purchasing again!Update: my 12 year old with a heart murmur had an echocardiogram done. He has NO major heart issues! I definitely believe this supplement helped him and have repurchased it three times!

When it's opened within a few days they get hard & hard for my girls to chew. I have an older senior with very little teeth & she has a hard time chewing it. I will not purchase this product again.
