This socket set did exactly as advertised. I had 3 hex screws where the heads were rounded from trying to remove. They were extremely tight. This socket set worked perfectly and screws were removed easily.

Easily removed a rounded and stuck exhaust manifold bolt with no obvious damage to the socket. Did the job I asked.

I’ve had these for about a year now and they’ve been a really great product.

If I could give it more stars I would. If you question if it works, it does! Spent an hour trying to take off an oil filter with every tool / trick I could try. (Bottom side and very tight spacing of motorcycle) these had it off in under 30 seconds. Get it, worth it's weight in gold!!!

Since buying these I’ve bought snap on and gearwrench extractors. And sometimes these work when those don’t, they rarely let me down.

I’ve got an old Toyota with a consistent oil leak. After a few months I finally broke down and bought the rubber gaskets that needed to replaced and crawled under my truck only to find a stripped nut. It’s evident the previous owner tried to remove this nut before and ended up rounding it out. I spend an hour trying to hammer on smaller sockets, only to have them rounded out by this damaged nut.I decided to look up tools on Amazon and this pack came up. I figured I’d try it for $23 and if it didn’t work I’d just return it. I honestly didn’t have high hopes.Today I got around to trying the extraction kit and the 12mm went on easily. I figured I’d have to hammer it, but it slipped on snug immediately. I figured this meant it would only round out further. Tried to hit it with my battery operated impact and it didn’t budge. I grabbed my 3/8 ratchet with low expectations.After attaching the ratchet to the extension I held the socket tight in one hand and the extension firmed up against the nut with the other. A nice firm tug and I felt a rotation. Still being doubtful, I checked the nut thinking it would be further damaged. I was presently surprised to so that the nut had come loose and the extraction socket had done exactly what it was intended for! So grateful that this worked. Very study sockets! I’m keeping this set as the last resort and I’m very happy I purchased it!

Just purchased a car from marketplace. Going to do a regular maintenance and came across this striped oil drain plug. Order this set and was delivered same day, the box doesn’t hold the sockets well, but does the job of keep them in place once is close.Quality seems to be good. Easy to use. Removed the bolt quick, install a new plug and job was done. I definitively recommend this for a DIY person who doesn’t want to spend ton of money on a tool that may now be needed very often.
