Good value for the money no broken slides, good quality.

It's a nice little kit I used for my microscopes lab with my students. Make sure you know which immersion solution you are purchasing though. I purchased the Type A solution which is a little bit more user friendly than the Type B solution.

Came as described, very high quality

This was a nice set for a first time microscope owner. Has most everything you will need in it to get started with your scope. The slide cover box is a little strange, the covers tend to fall all over the place, but eventually you get the hang of it.

will work well in my lab

Slides were not clean. Right out of the box they are covered with spots, and under the scope they look like a world of microscopic creatures. Needless to say this ruined my test. I should have checked them before putting my sample among the jungle already on the slides.

The slides are great but the cover slips are absolutely disgusting. They have dust all over them and every single cover slip has water stains. Not sure how this happened.

I homeschool my daughter, and science is her favorite subject. After buying her a microscope, she wanted to make her own slides, so we purchased this kit. It keeps her very busy studying anything that she can study under a microscope.
