Weights & Measures Unknown Binding – November 30, 2009

Christmas hit, even for the old folks. Great reference chart. I got one for me and then purchased more for other family members. Quicker than google. Lots of great info and pretty handy overall. Love that it's laminated. I got the Math Fundamentals 1 Guide, too. We had a great "quiz fest" on Christmas Day!

I'm a USA citizen, and if I was lead to believe and somewhat understand. The USA was to have gone metric in the 1970s but did not. It is 2018, and nothing officially happened then or since. What I mean, there should have been an emmersion or total adoption for this to have worked. It was novel to have a miles then a decimal kilometers indication road signs on roadways or miles and kilometers per hour in vehicles. But only if a person of Canadian or Mexican nationality/residency driving through USA mainland understands this as part of this country's ideocentric nature and probably chuckles about it while going to the other country. Oh well!

You can never have too many of these sheets. These are very popular with my fellow students. We pass them around. They are not too expensive so if they like what I bought they buy their own and I do the same if I like one of their's I buy one for myself.

Impressive! I carry it to college classes as an extra resource. Has every type of measurement you could ever imagine and conversions as well. Whether you are a scientist, business owner, contractor, a do-it-yourselfer, or a cook, you will love it like I do.

I have a 14yr old that I home school and he is having trouble with Math. These charts are very detailed and self explanatory and I would encourage anyone struggling in Math to try these out. They really do help. The cost is very low and they deliver very very quickly!

This covers -- for all standard systems -- temps, lengths, areas, energy (BTU, HP, J, Kw, etc) weights, volumes, lumber, nails, nails/screws/bolts, tornadic & Beaufort & hurricane scales, and a few others. Its 4 pages are on 2 double-sided pages, each plastic enclosed, and already punched for a 3 ring notebook. The Fahrenheit - Celsius conversion table goes from -40 F to 212 F degree by degree with accompanying C degrees. While I wish it had something similar for lengths and weights, that would have involved many, many more pages and a simple calculator will let you quickly find the answers with the conversions in these charts. For $5, this is very worthwhile to help those of us living in the USA who converse with residents in other countries and who wish to communicate in units they'll understand and appreciate.

I collected ALL of these in the series and I am so glad I did. These charts have become incredibly helpful and educational for both my own studies and reference as an MT, as well as my children using them for general knowledge and school work. I would highly recommend and buy again.

This is simply the best collection for converting US-metric weights and measures I have ever seen.J.B.
