As I did not want to install powered cabling in my garden log workshop due to costs and other complications, I had to look for an alternative means to provide sufficient lighting and decided to buy this setup.It comes well packed and is a doddle to set up. The hardest part will be deciding on where you want your lights to be fitted. The bulbs supplied are extremely light weight and you would think they may not be that good but believe me, they certainly push out a lot of light. I also liked the idea that each light can be turned on/off which is very convenient and with fewer light on you'll extend the amount of time before charges. Apparently, you should get 9-10 hours of light from the system with all 4 lights illuminated before a charge is required. So far since I set up the system, I have probably had those on for longer since I bought the system and have not needed to charge it yet. I am waiting for the system to go flat before I recharge it which, according to the standard advice on lithium batteries, is best for the battery life.One really useful feature this system has is the USB port that you can switch on/off enabling you to charge your phone, and other handheld devices. I connected a USB 7ah lamp to it to get that extra light when painting miniature figurines.This system is well built, easy to connect/remove cabling when travelling or charging from a household wall socket. It's very portable and light enough to carry around.I have not yet installed the solar panel due to the bad weather and deciding on the best location to erect it on a pole so I can't comment on how quickly this will charge the system. I did buy the plug-in charger to recharge the system in the meantime.Photonic Universe who supplies this system are also extremely helpful in answering any questions you may have. They are very knowledgeable in the advice they gave me, explaining in great detail the how long it would take to charge the system via a 100w solar panel at various times of the year. They were in no hurry to end the call as they wanted to be sure I was happy with their advice and support. This was admirable on their part.Since then, a friend also bought the system based on my advice (less the solar panel) and he too was really pleased with the system.I highly recommend this system and company. It's extremely good value for money.
