It works
I was able to use this product to successfully clean off a couple hundred thousand miles worth of brake dust off some old wheels, making them look like new again! The product works, but it needs to sit for a while, and I need to scrub and repeat the process several times.I had an issue when the package was delivered, but when I contacted the company support they took care of me very well.

Great for BBS basketweaves!
My '95 Miata M Edition is equipped with factory 15" BBS "basketweave" wheels. Other wheel cleaners get them "sorta" clean, but brake dust and dirt linger in the cracks and crevices. In addition most acidic cleaners can leave a white residue on the clearcoated aluminum outer rims that needs to be polished out. The result? It takes the better part of an HOUR just to get the wheels clean... and that's on a car that gets driven three or four days per week and lives in the garage otherwise.Enter Car Guys. Yes, this stuff is spendy. And no, it's not perfect (more on that later). But it Just. Plain. Works.Application is easy. Car Guys has a thick gel consistency that stays where you spray it. Just spray the wheel with the cleaner, let it sit five minutes and agitate with a soft brush (I use a long wheel brush for the inside face of the spokes and a big soft handled brush for the wheel face). Rinse thoroughly. For stubborn stains or heavy buildup agitate the offending area again and rinse. To stop any water spots I blast the wheels with compressed air after washing to dry them off.Since Car Guys is a gel, it really sticks to the wheels. That leads to the main challenge, which is getting it ALL off the wheels. You can't just hit the wheels with a low-pressure stream of water and expect it to come off easily. A high -pressure nozzle on a garden hose just about does it, but a pressure washer does a better job.My wheels look better than they have since I've owned my car. It takes less time to get them looking good. And getting every bit of dirt and brake dust off means that subsequent cleanings are quicker and they look better between cleanings. That makes Car Guys a winner in my book. The pictures attached are of my 26-year-old wheels after cleaning today. They really do look that good!Update... I bought this stuff back in May. It gets used every two weeks on my Miata (my daily driver has easy-to-clean wheels so I save the good stuff for the BBS wheels). I'm just now ordering another bottle. When the manufacturer says you don't need a lot they really mean it. A little goes a long way, and it still does a great job on my wheels without attacking or otherwise damaging either the painted or clearcoated sections. Great stuff!

Not a good product for Chrome Wheels.
Update: I am editing my review because the company has reached out to me and stood behind there product which I respect. They have offered me a refund for the product not working. Like I said this product may work great for other kinds of wheels but I just couldn’t seem to get a good result for my chrome wheels. So I bought this product thinking there was no chance it could not be good. High ratings with a ton of good reviews. I followed the directions for this product exactly as it said on the package. I left it on for about 5 minutes like it said on each wheel then agitated with a clean microfiber towel. I then rinsed thoroughly and dried with another clean microfiber. I began to lose my mind as there seemed to be be either this coating like water spots on my wheels. I should also mention that I have a 2017 Silverado that I’ve only owned for about 8 months and it has been cleaned regularly atleast every 2 weeks even in the winter months. But back to cleaning my wheels. I began to lose mind so much that my now chrome wheels seemed to look worse than they did after just washing them with soap. I went to Autozone and bought the product I had been using since I bought my truck and really liked it but the only reason I stopped was because amazon seemed to stop selling it. I won’t say the brand because it doesn’t matter but with only 15 seconds and some mild agitation with a micro fiber and then hand drying my wheels were back to looking new. I had high hopes for this product and maybe it might work for other types of wheels but I’ll be returning this product or seeking a refund. The pictures I’ve included with the car guys product and then the other brand I used don’t lie. It’s to bad. I had high hopes for this product.

Worked great on 2008 civic
This worked very well along with a non scratch steel scrub pad for cleaning up the rims on my 2008 civic, would definitely recommend paying the price for a product that works well.

Cleaning tires.
Works good on rubber, that was my main reason I bought it.

It stains the floor when using this product to clean the tire rims.
I give this product three stars because it does clean the rims. However, after I used it for cleaning my vehicle tire rims, I noticed that it had stained the driveway. I did wash down the stain afterwards with a garden hose but the stain remains. Now I have to spend $25 in buying a gallon of a special detergent to remove the stain, plus I have to hire someone to power wash clean my driveway. At least Amazon agreed to give me a full refund on the item without having to physically return it.
