Musical speakers! VERY high quality and an all out bargain.
I decided to buy these speakers because they were so reasonably priced. (I believe they had a $499 a pr. retail price when they came out.) Very little to lose if I didn't like. These speakers are small but they fill the room with beautiful sound. Very clear sound and these really don't even need a sub because the bass is very impressive. They image just beautifully. They cross the line into the "sublime" and "musical." Very, very impressive especially considering the cost. The better the associated equipment and cabling, the better they sound. I'm driving them w/a modest Cambridge Azur 340A (which I upgraded w/much higher quality binding posts.) I'm really enjoy listening to this modest system. Very high quality speakers which I very highly recommend you consider buying (while you still can b/c they are discontinued.)

Good speakers when on sale
I bought these for a desktop audio set up. They are accurate and detailed in the high and mid range but put out very little bass. They are best paired with a subwoofer than can make up for their deficiencies. I bought them on sale for $199. There are better speakers out there for the list price of $499.

Surprisingly Good
I was fearful of speakers this small would not perform well, but they do. They put out a surprising amount of bass for such small enclosures. The cabinets are impeccably finished in gloss white. They fill my living room with great sound. They were a good buy.
