BUDGET SAFE & Perfect for Fine Art Oil Painting Prints
The media could not be loaded. Scared to death because it's technically a "plotter" printer, but I'm so gad I tried this instead of the super expensive upgrade. Tips to get the best quality, save to PNG files, change size to 300 dpi WITHOUT resampling the image, the larger you go be sure to increase sharpness accordingly. All of mine were taken with an iphone 10 & iphone 14 and they look & feel amazing.I'm printing on the Epson SureColor T2170 24-Inch Desktop Wide-Format Wireless Inkjet Printer.I use canva to create a file that's 24inx80in . It's easy to adjust to smaller sizes.I prefer to use the fiskars rotary cuttery to deal with the thickness of the Matte Canvas roll . The paper isn't too shiny. I test applied varnish to the prints (Winsor Newton & Kamar Varnish), and it enhanced the print much like an actual painting. Just be careful it can make the sides curl. My collectors are extremely impressed by quality.prints great on 100% poly & poly-cotton

Epson figured out a new way to cheat it's customers.
I have had the printer since June 16, 2020. I paid a total of $822.03. I rarely used it because the ink was so expensive, Most of that ink was used to exercise the print nozzles, and do light cleaning to make sure the nozzles wouldn't clog because of how little I used it.Prepare to spend a bit over $200 when it comes time to buying all 4 cartridges of ink for it.Printer printed fine/ prints fine, and never clogged even though there would be half a year between me firing it up sometimes.I just bought my first set of replacement cartridges....meaning I used the original ones it came with, and it took me 4 years to need to order a new set. This printer is practically still new as far as being used goes.....I turned it on recently and got this message: "Replace parts 0000C000 soon. The printer's ink tubes are nearing the end of their service life, please contact epson support"I contacted support & sent the following message:I Don't use the printer much, but even so, I got this message:Replace parts 0000C000 soonThe printer's ink tubes are nearing the end of their service life, please contact epson supportPrinter still prints fine with no issues. What do I need to do?Reply:The error 0000C000 is in reference to a main board issue. This will require some form of repair.Thank you again for contacting Epson.Christopher G.So you buy their expensive ink, and although the printer still works like it did when new.....you now must have the printer serviced/repaired or the printer will stop working? This seems to be the new normal. Epson Printers come with an expiration date?

Far superior to the HP t200!
I've been using my Epson T2170 and cannot recommend it enough. I use it weekly to print my separation films for screen printing and it works phenomenally due to Epson's use of UV resistant pigmented inks on all color channels, not just black like HP uses to cheap out. When printing separations and burning screens with UV light, the UV resistant ink blocks the light perfectly (down to a 5 second burn with LED!). HP is known to be cheap crap and Epson also has a solid reputation. My box DID COME OPEN so if you're worried about shipping, I'd highly recommend buying this from a store.

I was really hoping this printer would work out.
I had to return this item because the cost of ink was definitely way too expensive. I was only able to get four to six prints for each set of ink.. if you're only printing things like blueprints, then you should be fine. But if you're printing art pictures 2 ft by 4 ft you will only get a few prints out of each ink set. Just didn't work out for me.

Faulty sensor on this one 😞
This printer didn't work out for me 😞 I love Epson products but this one unfortunately had a faulty sensor and couldn't read the maintenance box as I took out and reinstalled it as the setup guide prompt me to do. After doing some research I purchased a maintenance box resetter and a couple of extra maintenance boxes but no luck so 🤷 I sent it back.

Great product, horrible packaging
Package arrived late and had zero styrofoam to protect the printer. It just slides around in the massive box it comes in. It is a miracle that the printer did not get damaged during the shipping process. There is no manual or start-up guide in the packaging and is also missing a clip that hinges the front cover on. Luckily, two of the three hinges are there so I can still attach it to the printer.Despite the terrible packaging and missing things, the printer works great! I use it to print artwork and the quality is great! I would absolutely recommend this printer to anyone looking for a quality, low cost, large-format printer.
