I've only had this remote for a short time, but it works perfectly for my needs! My family had 3 different remotes for our devices that we were constantly scrambling to find or keep track of. With 2 kids, at least one of the remotes had a tendency to disappear. This remote has solved that problem! It was very easy to program to our DVD player, sound bar, and TV with the included programming code manual. The list of compatible devices is pretty extensive! The remote lights up when a button is pushed, is lightweight, and works flawlessly. It is comfortable to hold and is of medium size. Not too large to reach the buttons one-handed. It looks really nice as well. Highly recommend, and is a good value!

I hate having a bunch of remotes for various devices, so I definitely prefer an all-in-one. However, I hadn't found one yet that would operate my tv, my roku and my vcr/dvd player (yes I still have one of those). Enter the GE Universal, and WOW - why didn't I do this sooner?I recently purchased an identical replacement remote for my Roku Express to the one I have in my bedroom, because I wanted a remote that would at least operate the Roku and the TV together, just like like the one I purchased for my bedroom. I even purchased it from the exact same listing here on Amazon as the first one. Unfortunately, the manufacturer changed how that remote is made and it doesn't work with my living room TV like the remote for the bedroom TV does. I followed all the directions and even reached out to their customer service department (no response). It just wouldn't work. Then I noticed the model number had changed on that remote - there was the answer. Waste of money to buy that, I guess!So, I started searching for something that was a true all-in-one universal remote that would operate everything I have set up - my Roku Express, the Sony TV and the Funai DVD/VCR (I still have this device because there are movies I enjoy that are out of print and I'm in the process of transferring them from VHS to DVD). I found this remote, and not only was it cheaper, but it was a breeze to set up and works wonderfully well!1) Setup:This thing was incredibly easy to set up. It took me all of about 7 minutes to pair it up to the TV, Roku and DVD/VCR unit, and I've got room on the remote for a couple more devices if I ever need to do that.2) Ease of Use:Works like a charm! Because it's a universal remote, you just have to remember to press the button corresponding to the device you want to control - so TV for the TV, DVD for the VCR/DVD unit and AUX for the Roku. Easy! This remote even has the little "house" or "home" button for the Roku - you can use that or the Menu button, both do the same thing.3) Size/Weight:This remote is stylish and lightweight - it's less than half the weight of my Roku remote. Plus, it's not as small as the Roku remote, which means there's less chance of losing it. It's slim and has a brushed aluminum-looking face plate, so dust won't show as much as on a black remote (a petty annoyance, I know, but...)All in all, I'm very pleased with this remote and happy I purchased it. It was half the price of the replacement Roku remote I purchased.UPDATE: 1 month followup. Remote is still working well, no problems. So far, none of the problems I'm seeing others report (losing sync with devices, having to re-input codes, only working part of the time). Mine works consistently well, no problems.

It works all of my devices and is simple to operate and very "senior friendly". The programming process can be a bit complicated and not all of the original device functions are available but I am very pleased with this product. With tax and free shipping, I still paid less than the price at my local retailer.

It was pretty easy to set up, it comes with a extensive list of connection numbers sorted by tv brand if you don't want to try to find the remote code on your tv. All you do is long click the setup button until the red light comes on, press tv and then enter the code, if the first one doesn't work do it till you find the right code. My old Panasonic worked on the first code. Its cheap and works so I can't ask for a better product.

Works perfectly. Programmed with the first code for my TVs model. Lights up nice and bright to make it viewable in the dark so I don’t have to have a light on.I love the pink color too. Doesn’t come with batteries though so make sure you have them ready to go. Hopefully it doesn’t go through them quickly. But I am happy with this purchase.

Some functions don’t seem to work even though I tried all of the given codes for my model TV.

I needed a remote replacement for an older TV and got this one at a reduced cost for a returned product. The remote came in a package that had been opened and resealed but other than that it was in perfect condition and once I had programmed it. It works perfectly for what I am using it for. I would definitely recommend it.

This remote works great on all my stereo equipment, TV, Cable box, DVD. Only took 5 minutes to hook up everything.. easy to hold.It awesome having 1 remote instead of 4 remotes. Definitely worth the money, Would buy again.. only thing I which it had, was a back light on the key pad, but that’s just my preference..

Lo compré para una TV Lexus de plasma muy viejita, del 2010 aproximadamente y aun que no viene el código como tal de la TV en la lista que incluye el control, al utilizar la función de escaneo que trae el control pude encontrar el código de forma automática y funciona perfectamente con la TV. De la misma forma, programé un segundo perfil de los cuatro que incluye el control para un dispositivo Roku el cual tengo conectado a la misma TV de antes y así evitar tener 2 controles. Ahora solo con un control puedo operar tanto la TV como el Roku y estoy mas que satisfecho.

El producto no era ni el modelo, ni la marca, tampoco es un control Universal. Viendo las características este control es para JVC únicamente.Es una estafa.

They were easy to set up and i was amazed how many devices they were capable of controlling. I had mine configured and working within 5 minutes of getting them out of the box. Havent found anything that they cannot do
