Arizona is tough on lenses

This product seemed to be quite well-constructed of good materials, and had an SAE marking on the lamp lens. But the lens was very poorly glued to the silvered backing piece with a bubble-filled, clear, transparent adhesive that appeared to be a cyanoacrylate of some sort, instead of adhesives normally used to seal these lamps. There were a few sections that appeared to have little to no sealant. Seemed unlikely to remain sealed for long with road vibration. Looks like Dorman's Taiwan factory is having quality control problems.Additionally, for those who care about cosmetic issues, it doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look like the OEM product. The clear bubbly glue has run all over the place where it's been over-applied, and is visually very messy looking (see photos). The back is, for some reason, coated with silver/chrome paint instead of being left plain grey plastic like the OEM lamp. I've also included photos from a distance to give you an idea of how the product actually looks.But on the positive side, the glass lens is a similar colour to OEM, unlike the TYC version, which has a very blue-tinted lens.
