I’ve only had the Ezy Dose Pill Cutter for two days, but I’m already impressed with its quality and performance. It feels well-made right out of the box, and the compact design makes it incredibly convenient to store or take on the go. I’ve used it several times now to split both pills and vitamins, and each cut has been clean and accurate—no crumbling or uneven edges.The stainless steel blade is sharp and seems durable, making it easy to cut through even slightly larger tablets with little pressure. It gives me more confidence in getting accurate dosages when I need to split pills. I also appreciate the built-in pill holder, which keeps things organized and adds a nice touch of practicality, especially for short trips or daily use. If you have to cut some of your pills in half like I do on certain pills then this is a must have because I used to use a knife and then the other side of the pill would fly off and hit the floor, not anymore with this wish I had bought this a long time ago it's a good product works great I highly recommend this to anybody that needs to cut their pills in half I think it is good quality I've been using it now for maybe 6 months and no issues yet

While this pill cutter originally worked well and it was nice that half of the pill got put into a little tray for you to immediately grab while the other one stays in a more contained area, one thing I don't like about it is that it seems after a few uses the blade gets fairly dull and I'd say after two to three months of using it roughly three times a week, the pill cutter can no longer evenly / reliably cut pills in half. It will crush them for sure. However, I feel due to the dullness of the blade now that often the pills aren't cut exactly in half, which kind of defeats the purpose. I'm sure this is an issue that other pill cutting devices end up facing, so that's why I only took off one star. If you could somehow replace the razor blade in this with a new one, so it was nice and sharp, it would be five stars all day. Sadly, the only issue I find with it is also the main reason to have it, which is cutting pills evenly in half.

I can't believe how much use I have gotten out of this. I have an elderly dog who is still kicking and really active, despite needing to take half a dozen medications a day. I am really surprised how many vet pharmacies do not cut pills to the prescribed size. This solved that problem quickly. Best couple of bucks I could have spent. I have been using it for over 7 months, and the blade is still sharp. As long as you position the pill properly (which I did not do a few times), you will get a good cut with this.

This pill cutter is great. It cuts my tiny pills perfectly. I can even cut them in fourths if I’m careful. It’s priced so well that I wouldn’t mind if it didn’t last long but I’ve had it for a couple years, use it 3xwk and it still works great. Very happy with it.

The pill will be cut! I have five sizes and this unit cuts them all. The unit is plastic with an embedded razor knife attached to one of the two piece clamshell. The unit opens by placing your fingers at the "button" end of the unit. You will feel two "bumps" AKA "bosses". Place a thumb on one boss and index finger of the same hand and push your fore finger against the other boss while pushing the thumb in the other direction. By this slight twisting motion the clamshell will open. Don't use much force as the unit may go flying. The blade should be in the UP portion of the clamshell. Directly below the blade is where the pill is positioned. Lower the blade until it contacts the pill. Then move you fingers out of the clamshell and while holding the bottom portion of the clamshell with one hand, lower the blade to cut the pill with the other. The cut is very smooth when the cutter is first used. As it ages it will become dull. Time for a new unit as the blade is not replaceable. This is my first time with this unit. It is OK but cuts only one pill at a time. I am interested in how long until I need to change the blade. It does the job though! If they provided a small plastic holder where you could place this unit into it to hold it, it would help the design a lot. It is hard to get a big hand around the unit. If it could clip into a 4" square x .0625" thick plastic base it would allow the unit to be held firmly by one hand as the other cuts the pill. There would be no "skidding across the table" when the unit gets away from you. The unit is very affordable IF the cutter does stay sharp for a long time. The design and price are correct for its performance.

This pill splitter does a great job cutting small pills in half. I was trying to break it by fingernail but there was too much variation in the sizes. This takes the guess work out. Save time and mind by getting this pill splitter. Reasonably priced and works well.
