Better alternative to Leviton equivalent products
As that title claims, having owned and replaced more than my share of Leviton dimmer switches recently, I can honestly say I've had no issues with this Lutron model number AY2-LFSQ product. Now several decades ago, Leviton had manufactured some exceptional dimmer products and this is possible the units I had were defective as well. Now for information that Lutron does to a certain degree list on their on corporate website or by calling their technical support number at 1.844.588.7661 assuming one is interested in this information. With a small set of products, some of their products meet the criteria of being Buy American Act compliant, i.e part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) that was created in 2009.Essentially what the Buy American Act entails is that domestic requirement requires 51% of the components of the final product to be made in the US. With any Lutron product that starts with a U with the piece of paper on the plastic "box", this means this product has some USA components. According to Lutron, only the yolk and the plastic "box" are USA made. This might be case by case, but the printed instructions and the paper packaging are also USA made also. This particular unit is assembled in St. Kitts and from what several Lutron technicians have mentioned and based on a local distributor has in stock, there is a system to verify the country of origin based on a code system of sorts. If this is assembled in St. Kits, this with have a U, whereas if this has a GI, this means this was assembled in China. Mc means this was assembled in Mexico.Note that the SKU number and the indicator of this unit aren't the same with Lutron products. For example, the SKU number of this product is 27557 83037. Conversely, the information on black "box" reads U 152930740b0246. Perhaps this information is subject to change, but at the time of purchasing this product this was the case.Yes this would be better if this entire product was entirely domestically made, but something is better than nothing. Given the vast amount of outsourcing that has happened in recent years, nothing isn't that far of with some industries anymore.

Exactly what I wanted
And couldn’t find in any of the big box stores! They said this didn’t exist! Well it does! And works great!

good product from a good company /poor design
Lutron brand electrical devices are some of the better manufactured electric items on the market presently. moreso than Cooper who's quality has taken a steady nose dive in the past years. I am a repairman and replaced many electric switches. although this is a quality switch it may not be the best designed . the switch is designed so that the user can control the fan speed and the light brightness with two tiny sliders on either side of the toggle switch. the toggle switch switches power on or off to the two sliders. the size of the sliders can be an issue for some people. it was for the senior couple that i installed it for. they had trouble seeing the tiny sliders. lastly this switch is to be used to only control 1 fan (rated at 1.5 amps and has a capacitor start motor ) and 1 incandescent light fixture (no fluorescent bulbs. max wattage is 300). you should not wire two fans on each switch as this will eventually cause the switch to malfunction. this is how the electrician/person installed the original switch that i replaced and it failed.

Had issues with switch and Lutron was quick to fix the problem!
Had an issue with this switch in my house. Every time we changed the fan speed it put noise back into the circuit causing my TV and other devices on the circuit to turn off. Not all devices were affected, just some. It took a while for us to find out it was the switch causing the issues. We have 2 of these installed and both circuits have the same problem. This is in new construction.Once I realized it was the switch and not the fan or the circuit itself, I called Lutron and they were quick to send out replacement switches. They sent me 2 of Lutron MA-FQ3-WH Maestro Fan Control Kit, White . These switches are electronic and do not have the capacitors that were causing the original problems. My father has these same switches in house and does not have these issues. His house is about 15 years old so I am not sure if it has to do with the new codes for electrical and the way newer circuits are ran or not.I am giving a 3 star review because of Lutron's quick response and excellent customer service to help me find the right switches.

A perfect match for my failed switch!
Since the new and the old were identical the replacement was very easy. I did need to knock off the side tabs because I had 4 switches in a single box. After install, worked GR8, light on/off/dimmer, fan on/off/dimmer all worked as designed.

Great for keeping period look.
Note: Only been installed for a few days now so I'll be sure to update if I encounter problems down the road.My house is from the 40s and still has all the original old dark stained wood trim and lathe and plaster walls so it still has that 40s 'feel' so I've been inclined to keep it period looking which means sticking with toggle switches and non rectangular outlets. If the lighting controls were 3-way it would be exactly what I needed. (If you know of an existence of such an item please let me know)My only concern would be the fan controls losing the already somewhat low tactile sensation between levels over time but I feel that the quality to price is right on point.

Not something you'd find in any "Home Depot or Lowes". Great product!
Had a hard time finding this switch. It allows you to control fan speed on a ceiling fan on left switch and control dimming on right switch. Middle large switch of course is "on/off". Everything is compact design allowing you to swap out for standard wall switch. This particular switch use to be very expensive. Definitely worth the asking price now. This type a switch will last for years on end with normal everyday usage. The last one lasted about 14 years till it began to short. Probable because I have children who abuse the thing. It might of well still been in service if not for them. I'm absolutely confident in recommending this product.
