Exactly what I was looking for!
I swear these were custom made for me! I was looking for a lightweight over the ear headphone with the following:1. Light weight with swivel over the ear earcups... check.2. Short one sided non-detachable cable... check.3. Low price and decent sound quality... check, check4. reasonable build quality and comfort, should last if not abused... checkLess than great:1. cable feels a little too flimsy, should be heavier gauge.2. L/R markings inside band are nearly invisible in dim light.3. small zipper case not included, I'd pay a little extra to include one.Overall great headphones for their intended purpose, maybe not audiophile quality but not meant to be. 5 stars! Recommended.

Perfect for the price. 8/10
Pros: Light, Portable, good bass, moderate mids and excellent highs, good mic and pause button.Cons: Non-Removable cable, Earcups' padding isn't as soft as I expected. These headphones may be pretty generic, but let me tell you. These are awesome for the price! I got these for 15$ and I couldn't be happier. Packaging is simple. The earcups twist outwards, which is good for portability. What I did notice is that these headphones sound moderate out-of-the-box. But after some time, (for me it was 1 week), they sounded very good. The bass is pretty good, it will "bump" with the beat. The mids are good, and the highs are very good. Some high pitch notes can be loud though, but nothing serious. The surround is excellent for on-ear headphones. The mic is pretty decent. It provides a clear sound and has one button to pause/play music and answer calls. The cord length is not long but not short, it's just right (wouldn't recommend for studio purposes).Since these are on-ear headphones, your ears will get warm after some time wearing these and they will begin to hurt temporarily. For me, 30 mins and my ears will start aching from the earcups. But after 10 minutes, your ears will be good to go again. Headband is soft but should be more firm but otherwise, good.I like this product and I would recommend this to someone who wants good sound for a small amount of cash.

Surprisingly Good Headphones
This review is for the irritatingly named "Monoprice Hi Fi Lightweight Solid Bass Clear and Articulate Acoustic On Ear Headphones with In Line Controls and Built In Microphone", since I can't tell by the product page if Amazon differentiates between reviews of this and the over-ear model.I somehow managed to get them for $18 here, which is only $3 more than what Monoprice charges on their site. Similar to others here, I liked what CNET had to say about them and the price was definitely right. Also my old Klipsch Image S4 earbuds were literally electrocuting my ears any time I moved, so yeah. Those earbuds, side note, are what I had to compare these against, but they were also CNET-recommended years ago for whatever that's worth.First of all, and because people have complained about build quality, they're only $15. At that price point, most people would be okay with (nay, *expect*) a cheaply made product, and would probably enjoy terrible sound quality as well. But these actually sound *good*. So I think we can, at the very least, marginalize that aspect of these headphones. Better construction would mean a higher price, and that would take away the key advantage of these headphones: the value. In terms of sound-reproduction they definitely impressed me. I have a decent HiFi setup at home, the components of which I've also reviewed on Amazon (if anyone's interested); these 'phones obviously weren't able to create as satisfying of a performance as my stereo, but they actually didn't do anything wrong by comparison. Going from top to bottom, the highs are nicely detailed without being harsh or fatiguing. Nothing "crunchy" or brash like most cheap (and even some mid-tier) earbuds have. Mids are decent and don't draw attention to themselves. I would have preferred a little more warmth/richness, but that's technically a coloration and I wouldn't consider its absence an objectively bad thing. Lows are surprisingly well done compared to what I was used to with the Klipsch earbuds. The bass on those was understandably weak, given that they're so small and inexpensive. Which is why the Monoprice headphones pleasantly surprised me by being plenty noticeable and low. It's not sloppy and it's not excessive; it feels well weighted in terms of its place in the sound profile. Overall, the sound quality was satisfying, non-fatiguing, and definitely good for the price. I would give it 5 stars for value any day, and probably 4 for sound quality altogether. The only issue I had was a left-right imbalance where vocals would seem to be centered closer to one ear than the other. Maybe it's because I wear glasses (which also makes listening for more than 30 minutes painful - how do people do it??) or maybe it's the nature of "on-ear" 'phones and the lack of a legitimate seal. Regardless, it was noticeable enough be a little annoying at times. I feel that the discomfort related to my glasses (however irritating) is a personal problem, so it didn't factor into my rating. All things considered, these are an insanely good deal and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who has reasonable expectations for build quality, a desire for better-than-average sound, and a tight budget.EDIT 03/12/2016: The inline mic is very annoying if you wear shirts with collars.

Impossibly good for $15; good for travel
Really good noise isolating, on-ear (not over-ear) headphones with good bass. Not fake, "added" base - just large drivers that can pump out bass without coloring the mid-range, if the producer laid down a strong bass track. Impossibly good for under $15, but I guess high-precision overseas factories and slim margins in the distribution channel make it possible. I enjoy these more than the entry level Audio Technica cans. What's "on-ear"? These aren't "open ear" headphones like the old Sennheiser that would rest on your ears, outside the ear canal, with no exterior noise isolation. These have a very comfortable soft surround that is sized small so they rest on, not over, your ear. The soft-surround is pliable to keep the bass in and not leak it away, and the seal to the ear is good enough to keep outside noise to a minimum.Lightweight, minimalist design; single cord minimizes tangles.Good for gamers. Good if you don't like in-ear buds. Good for "real" bass.Ideal headphone users who travel. The cans themselves will rotate around so the whole assembly is flat.

Good sound; poor build quality
I have purchased 3 of these headphones and the sound quality is very good, especially for the price. However, all three have broken so I cannot recommend the build quality. My most recent pair broke after just 8 months.

Zero Complaints
I can't use over-ear headphones due to TMJ. I got these to replace some ancient Bose on-ears.They cost 10% of what the Bose cost, and sound really good. I have been a musician for over 40 years, and I am picky about sound.I keep them in bed, and listen as I am falling asleep. I use Apple Music with Lossless audio.Certainly, the quality could be higher, but not for this little money, I'd say.

Best of the cheap headphones.
Been using these for many years at work (bought many from Monoprice). They are good for not pinching the head. They are good enough and cheap enough in price that they can break at work without being upset. I usually get one per year by the time I break it.

Ottimo prodotto a € 11,99
Una volta venivano vendute come Amazon basic e qualche volta le prendevo anche sotto i 10 € ma valgono molto di più delle marche più blasonate su quella fascia di prezzo ( circa 19€ ) . Acquisto stra consigliato ne ho prese altri 4 pezzi

This headphones can't reproduce Sub frequencies !
Yo, I can say that this headphones are great even without that much of bass as they a bit more expensive brother (£25) and I love them, they're very light, tight, comfortable, great for DJ's, great for a walk, I think you can't buy better headphones for this price. Love Monoprice and I'll check more of their products.
