Windows Server 2012 R2 Inside Out: Services, Security, & Infrastructure, Volume 2

I am an IT professional who likes to have a book to read and refer to. In an age of digital copies it is sometimes nice to have a book to highlight and mark pages. This is a good sized book for portability. The topics are covered well and offers step by step instruction as well as detailed descriptions of what you are doing.

If you want a step by step guide where nothing goes wrong, this book is for you. I really didn't find it as a informative as I had hoped.

Great book!. I bought it as a preparatory material for my MCSE server infrastructure exams.would have loved it even more if the pages were coloured :)

These books are terrible menu item run downs. Save your money, unless you enjoy running an installation wizard and having the gook echo everything that is on-screen with ZERO explanation of what is actually going on. Sorry, but explaining to me that if my installation fails I will need to start over and therefore should have a backup in place, doesn't qualify as knowing your topic 'Inside Out', at least not where I work. :(

Very concise. William does a great job. He is extremely knowledgeable about the product and passes it along to the reader.However, Most of his books are not for beginners but he spells that out in the introduction.
