I’ve had a G-Shock for most of my life, probably over 35 years. I’ve always been pleased and used them in many conditions (construction, martial arts, camping, swimming, etc). I finally had to replace my last one and got this one. I’m pleased with the function, fit, and appearance. The only uncertainty is it uses a plastic buckle on the band and I’m unsure how this will hold up in the long run. We shall see.!

I just got this watch after having a Garmin that took a crap on me after a couple years. This watch checks the boxes that I was looking for simplistic design, readable clear face. It’s a Casio so you know it’s dependable. Allegedly 10 year battery but if I get half of that, I’m still all smiles. I needed a good dependable work watch. I am very hard on watches so I need something that can take a beating. Nothing fancy about this watch just the workhorse. Water resistant for 100 meters. Personally if I’m ever that deep I’m probably not coming back up so plenty water resistant for me. I guess my only qualm about the watch is the band. Feels cheap and basic. Considering the price range I won’t cry about that too much. I don’t know what options there are to replace the band, but I still think I should get a few years out of it before it goes out. If it goes out. Definitely recommend if you need a simple beater of a timepiece.

The negative display is always more difficult to see, so I would like the lighter green with a positive display, but a 10 year battery, mineral crystal, mud proof and moderate size with simple, but full features are a plus.

I bought this watch 2 years ago, still working fantastic. Survived my Army Basic Training with couple scratches. Overall great product and great quality.
