The MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI is a fantastic motherboard - easy to install and comes with a very helpful quick start guide included in the first few pages of the manual. Also comes with a preinstalled IO shield which for some can save a lot of time and hassle (me!).The motherboard itself has RGB which can be controlled through Dragon Center, which is also a brilliant piece of kit. Frozr shield for 1 of 2 SSD slots is also available; which can also be disabled through Dragon Center if required. 6 case fans all with 4-pin connectors are conveniently placed around the motherboard with a separate AIO pump fan and an air cooler fan for the CPU is included.The box comes with 3 SSD stand-off screws (1 spare) and stickers for sleek cable management, along with the usual paperwork, manual and SATA connectors. Packaged well with motherboard safety in mind.In terms of installation, the IO shield fits perfectly in my case cut-outs (NZXT H510) and installation was a breeze. The motherboard comes with a middle stand-off cutout to make mounting it easier.Wi-Fi and Bluetooth both work flawlessly after chipset and LAN driver updates. At the time of writing both upload and download speeds are as expected from my ISP and speeds are pretty much the same as as an ethernet connection so no losses there. If it isn't already clear - I am very happy with the on-board Wi-Fi.Overall, this is a fantastic motherboard which has been designed and manufactured very well. Very happy with this purchase and hope to continue using it in future builds.

Okay, the wiring is a bit tidier than the photo now but yes that is an SDD velcro'd onto the chassis lol. This was an old off the shelf Packard Bell iExtreme, when purchased it didn't even have a graphic card installed. I do a lot of video and photo editing and needed a mean machine to handle the load. This build went through trouble free much to my amazement. The motherboard by MSI is well set out with mATX chassis in mind and considering the price paid represents great value for money. It's one of the cheapest options out there if you want to have 64GB of RAM on this form factor. Not a single component was problematic and they all work together a treat. The price of the motherboard allowed me to splash out in other areas like CPU and graphics. I'm glad the card caught my eye on Prime Day. Gave it four stars for Gaming but that's pretty arbitrary as I did a benchmark survey and it can play 85% of all games out there with ease so I'm told. If you want RGB fans you'll have to work around it as the header is non existent, it's only optional. The plated through holes for the header have solder in them as someone didn't tape them up before they went into the solder wave machine. So to modify it you'll have to bazooka the solder out and fit your own header. I'd check with them first though as it may invalidate your warranty. I left it as is , not bothered about shiny shiny lights. The card allowed me to build a really capable machine that looks very modest from the outside. Inside though....There be dragons.

Using this in my custom-built rig that I threw together with a limited amount of money. Needed a good motherboard, as I was finally upgrading from a recycled Acer motherboard and power supply...I'm using it with an i5-11400 & RX 580, powered with a 500W PSU. No problems. Solid motherboard. Easy to use BIOS. Happy :)

This MSI motherboard has a very wide range of ports on the rear I/O which I heavily appreciate. The inclusion of Wifi 6 is very nice to have. The motherboard was very easy to install into my NZXT h510 elite case and has very good placement of different pins. I highly recommend this motherboard, it's a practically perfect. One thing I'd improve is add another USB C port on the rear I/O or even a thunderbolt 3 port.Honestly, you won't need any more expensive motherboard than this. It's practically has everything a motherboard needs, and the price tag makes this 100% worth the purchase. +rep to MSI

This was so easy to install, Ive had no issues whatsoever and have had my build a little over a year. It has stood up to a few different hardware changes and is still going strong. Great price too!

I'm dropping a star because the board was delivered with the product on display AND the box was opened! However... the anti-static bag was still sealed inside and nothing was (as far as I'm aware) missing.The board itself is great if the z490e is out of budget, lots of IO, wifi, bluetooth m.2 cooler etc.RGB lighting on the chipset but not the rear IO which is a shame.Works well paired with a 10700k

I wanted a mobo with 2 PCIe x16 slots, 2 m.2 PCIe, CPU slot that can run i7 10th gen, 4 stick slots for RAM, and USB 3.0 for VR, and this ticked it all.After purchasing this, I tried to register this product on the MSI website and found it impossible to. I constantly get a "code error" when trying to register an account and register the product. I have not had any issues with the mobo itself, but just keep in mind, their website is atrocious. I just hope their customer service isn't eitherMy only mistake was that I did not get a mobo with wifi and Bluetooth (more importantly the Bluetooth) as I wanted to pair my ps4 controller with my PC and I couldn't pair it with a USB cable which was frustrating. If someone knows a way to pair it then please let me know. I was thinking of getting a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth mobo extender to fit in my second PCIe 16 slot but if I do install it then it will be extremely close to my GTX 3060ti. I'll probably end up getting a USB flash drive that is capable of doing BluetoothOverall I would recommend the product, it has everything I needed. You, as the consumer, need to just make sure this also has everything you need. I have had no problems with this Mobo. I was debating on getting a mobo with a PCIe 4.0 instead of 3.0 but apparently, there is not much difference.Good luck on the PC parts hunt!
