This box was bought to replace another (totally separate) box which had seemingly a bad connection and ended up frying itself. While I won't go in to the details of that one here what I will say is that this receiver has surprisingly turned out to be so much better, it's almost night and day.It was tuned to German channels from the get-go and for the most part is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. What was even more surprising is actually how responsive and nippy it is at doing its job. To try and better present this, previous receivers I've used have always either had a "lag" changing the channel or the actual interface is just slow and clunky - but this just works and you're not waiting around for things to happen.The only one downside seems to be on the remote there's no audio control for basic volume - it's actually hidden in the settings. That said it's not much of a stretch to use your "main" TV remote or your soundbar controls if you have one of those. Bit clunky if you just want the single remote at the time but it's not really worth knocking a star off for.

Nice picture simple to install. I can only give 4 stars as the receiver was clearly a 'repack'. The protective film had already been removed and there were scratches on the case. Tempted to return but as it works fine have kept it.

It's a good reciever, not a big as I though it was going to be, but it does the job, I had to type some frequency's in myself, so having a list is useful to enter the ones it misses. The menu system took me a while to work out arranging the channels, took me a few days to work things, but now it's great, but if you need a cheap reciever. It also plays and records various media.

1 Wow! What a small dinky device. 2 Wow! What an extensive specification. 3 Wow! It is set for Germany and their satellite. 4 Wire it up and get stuck in to the MENU system. Settings (5) to change the language, Antenna (1) to change to UK Astra 2 (28.2E) degrees. Then perform a scan (3) to replace preset German channels with the UK ones. You now have the basics for a working system. Four stars because of the default settings.

don't record all programs , but the ones it do are of a good quality.Would not recomend this box.

Sadly the product info isn't sufficient. You will need a USB 2.0 to get the PVR to work.You will also need a plug adapter as it has a two pin plug.Suggest you go to edit channels and deletemany unwanted and multiple versions of the same channel otherwise the EPG list is enormous. Apart from these minor things it seems a great little device.

Nice quality playback off ntsc and audio very good to. A bit plasticky in terms of build.

Bonne qualité par rapport au prix, mais pas de notice en français fournie avec cet appareil. Il faut payer encore 2€pour télécharger cette notice par le net. Il faudrait que je me fasse rembourser cette somme, car en France aucun article n'a le droit d'être vendu sans notice Française.
