ISOGYM Adjustable Dumbbell 2-20kg (Quick Change Weight Adjustment) 16 Selections

I know everyone says this but I never normally leave reviews. However, I'm so impressed by the item itself and the customer service from Isogym that I've made an exception. Firstly, the item is a single dumbbell so order two if you want a pair. Mine arrived in different orders and the first one didn't work - the twist mechanism was clearly broken and weight plates either wouldn't engage or alternatively disengage. I contacted the supplier and they advised to wait for the other dumbbell to arrive, make sure it worked and they would replace the other weight. Second weight arrived next day and worked perfectly - the twist mechanism is really smooth and weights engage and disengage really easily at different weight selections. On contacting the supplier again, next day collection of the broken dumbbell was arranged and a replacement sent the day after that. Used them both 3 times now and no problems with them at all. From a storage and use perspective this is so much more convenient than a set of weights. If there was a 20kg+ option I'd have no hesitation buying those as well. Great product, great service.

Very pleased with these for the price which is less than half that some of the competitors - some of which are over £800!! which is rediculous if you consider you are essentially paying for heavy lump of iron and plastic, as a materials scientist this boggles the mind. I'd draw a parellel between sunglasses. I have a pair of 'specious' £180 Oakley's but if I'm honest did I need to pay that much for a pair of plastic glasses.They are solidly build and the mechanism works well. Some of the plastic mold lines are a little rough (probably where value has been saved by not removing these) but it doesn't affect function. I'm not going to sit and stare at them all day for aesthetics - I'm going to lift them.In terms of lifting they slide out well, putting them back in some weight configurations is a little tricky - the thinnest plates don't stand on their own quite so well (when the heavy ones are lifted out beside them, so the thinner ones have less support.) but I think this would happen on other brands.Back to lifting being wary at first I tested multiple lifts out of the holders. It is possible on the lowest weight setting to catch the lowest inside weight ocassionaly, but only if you really twist the handle, or lift it way off angle side to side whilst pulling out of the holder (I was really trying hard to misuse it and force it into into other unconnected weights!) - but this is rare. You should also be lifting straight out to prevent injury anyway not at wonky angles.Delivey was speedy. Remember you need to buy Quantity 2 if you want a pair.

I researched a number of adjustable dumbbells and decided to purchase the ISOGYM set mainly on good reviews and size. I already have one adjustable men’s health dumbbell but it is very long and I would find two of these awkward to handle, others were of a similar size. The ISOGYM are more comparable to a normal dumbbell in length so more suitable for a female frame than other brands.They are easy and comfortable to use and look good.There was an issue with one of the dumbbells when it arrived, this was a result of some rough handling between dispatch and delivery I believe as the box was damaged resulting in damage to one of the weight plates,I contacted ISOGYM and the problem was rectified, they went out of there way to ensure it was put right. Excellent customer service which is so important. I would highly recommend purchasing these as don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Had to wait a while for this item to come back in to stock, but it was worth the wait.They are NOT cheap - let's get that out of the way straight off the bat. I bought 2 as I believe offers the best range of options when exercising.What they ARE, is a really well made, simple to use, comprehensive and excellent solution to a multi-purpose piece of fitness kit for people that have limited space.READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. The components are heavy and have edges that will cause damage if they are not correctly aligned and fall out. The stand is sturdy and compact and keeps things nice and tidy. Changing weight could not be simpler, but ensure that the unit is properly seated in the stand or it will lock.Would definitely recommend them.

The media could not be loaded. Don't buy these poor quality items from this unethical seller. The first time the weights broke, I accepted replacement parts, the second time they broke, one of the weight plates fell off as I was using it and almost hit me in the head. Also, the main part of one of them has stuck so much in place that it's unusable now. The seller has offered to replace the parts again, but I'm not confident in the quality and don't want to risk injury by using them again anyway. They are refusing to refund me.

Had these for over a month now.. great purchase .. weight is as states and are a great size and easy to use.. only down side is they do not sell heavier bells

Considering these aren't 'branded', they're a decent set of dumbells (I bought 2). They seem pretty solid (after couple uses) and it's really quick/easy to switch weights. Only downside (with the product) is the fact that they're 'only' 20kg each for the price. But at the moment (lockdown), demand is far outstripping supply, so I guess it's tough.Unfortunately, the 'conduct' of the company has forced me to drop 2 stars. Having spent almost £400 on 2 of these, I went on to their website to find that they had dropped the price considerably. It was explained to me that this was due 'pre-orders' and that I was paying for the privilege of having them now.This really doesn't sit well with me and makes me feel like I've been punished for getting in early and backing a fledgling company. For that reason, I would not recommend them and I won't use them again.
