Like some other reviewers mentioned, this is a pain to assemble. Lots of extra cord that has to be stuffed into the base and held down while you try to force a base cover plate over it and screw it in. The screw holes on the plate were a little off from the holes on the base, so I had to put them in at a little bit of an angle, which was a hassle because the heads are very weak and even the one that went straight in got stripped, so the ones that had to go at an angle with more force were harder to screw in without stripping the heads.The glass is super fragile. Kind of a bad design for securing the top bowl--metal clip and screw right against the glass. I barely tightened it at all--extremely light pressure--and a big chip broke off. The glass cover for the smaller bulb on the reading light seemed fine, but I picked up the lamp to walk from one room to the other--didn't bump into anything--and the small cover was broken when I got to the other room, just from the tiny amount of movement, I guess.Decent looking lamp and puts out pretty good light, but for the price it should be better quality. Also, the shade for the reading lamp should be a little deeper--it's very shallow and the bulb protrudes from the bottom, which kind of makes the shade a little pointless. The small bulb gets very hot, too. If you're using this as a reading lamp, I think it'll be very uncomfortable since it puts out a lot of heat. Most bulbs I use now are LED's that don't put off too much heat.Overall, not really satisfied with this and I'll be returning it.

The only thing I wished it had was a dimmer function for the main lamp( I knew that it didn't going in since it didn't mention it in it's online description). It was well packed and there was no damage from shipping. Relatively easy to assembly if you take your time and lay everything out first. Directions were clear and easy to follow.

Ordered two of these lamps. One works fine. Don't think it is worth the price but it does it's job. The reading lamp is limp and doesn't stay in place. The second lamp was defective. Sent it back and the seller offered to send another. Just got it yesterday. The glass bowl for the lights was missing from the box.-- Update.Just received the lamp bowl shade. Put my lamp together and found out the small light cover is broken. Ordered on 21 Jan and completed returns and missing parts on March 3rd. So much for prime shipping. Lamp is a rippoff. Not worth the money. Stay away.

Guys if you think about to buy a floor lamp this choice will be the best. Trust me because before this lamp I had two F.lams but both of those were sucks. I'm so happy that I bought this F.lamp.

This was the first time I ever put together such a project! And I followed the directions as supplied and I had no problem at all. I am very pleased with the lamp! It is exactly what I had hoped for!

This torchiere makes a tall, striking addition to my living room. Three way lighting with small lamp that can be repositioned for reading. Provided much needed light to a dark corner of our living room.

This lamp was a gift to my son and daughter in law. They LOVED it! They said it was easy to put together and was well made.They received the item packaged well and on time.
