Great for the price
Pretty good quality for the price. I use it almost every day and it seems to hold up. The few small issues I have are the pulse takes forever to read and always starts over and slowly counts up if you release. Everything is metric which really isn't a big deal as the US standard system is dumb if you think about it. The distance and speed don't seem to be accurate, but again I don't really care (My workout doesn't change if the distance says 5km or 100km, I'm still going to go as long as I want to) I wish there was a small shelf to hold a phone or iPad so I can watch videos. I'm 5'11" and 220lbs and the bike fits me perfectly. Seat could be slightly more comfortable but not a deal breaker, I can go 30 minutes no problem and the seat isn't an issue.

More Than I Expected.
The media could not be loaded. I'm sending this review based on a small bit of use and assembly. The assembly was fairly easy, I needed no additional hands and the directions were enough with the diagrams to put the machine together. The use is good, in fact I think it's ideal for a good starter system and for space it is enough to excersise and still have space in the room. It comes with rollers on the front bar so you can lean it and roll it where you need it to be.I will try and update with a more detailed feedback after more use or if there's a failure.UPDATE! The unit is still intact and working real good. We are able to get a descent workout, so I am very pleased.

So disappointed!!
*Update: I bought this elliptical in March, and it didn't make it to December. It was not used regularly, and certainly not every month.Screws and pieces started falling out, then I noticed the pedals were stuck and something might be jammed.I disassembled to replace the screws and tighten the rest, but unfortunately some of the plastic on the inside had melted with use. I'm still not sure how that even happened, but it's clear now that I can't fix it and it will be junked. After everything, I'm feeling pretty disappointed with this purchase.Assembly was mostly easy to figure out, with the exception of a pedal and bolt that was received jammed, and I required help from a coworker to loosen it with his power tools to finish. He struggled too, so I didn't feel like a total idiot. Was received with some epic scratching and marks, which was a shame, but I'm pretty much the only person who will ever see it so whatever. Is quiet and easy to exercise with and I feel like I am getting a pretty good work out.Biggest complaint hands down: that seat bruised my fluffy bottom for days and it was very sad.Bought a gel cushion to put over it and it is much better.Still happy with this purchase and it is stuck with me for at least 30 more pounds.

Decent
The mechanical and frame parts are well made, it was easy to assemble. The only issue I had was one of the foot Pegs, the thread on one of the cranks was already damaged, had to tap and die it to get it to work. The machine works well, using it as a bike is kind of awkward. A tad small, but for a home or office use it's great.Calorie counter is way off, heartbeat sensor works well, the mileage is good.Overall if you need a cheap few times a week exercise, this will do it.

For a good sturdy machine to get in shape and improve your ...
Bought this for my wife who wanted it to exercise while watching TV.I did not want to buy it at first after reading reviews that it was too loud and too hard to put together but what my wife wants she gets. Anyways I received the product quickly. When it arrived I had my 15 year old son put it together. He had no problem. Then the wife tried it.It was smooth and quiet. Ignore the reviews about being to loud and having to be a rocket scientist to put it together. For a good sturdy machine to get in shape and improve your cardio at a good price? I recommend this Plasma Fit Elliptical Machine Trainer2.

Serviceable for the Money
This product is pretty much "you get what you pay for". Would a more expensive machine have a smoother glide, easier resistance settings (digital vs. a turn-knob), and more stability? Yes. But As I didn't intend to pay $500-700 for a home exercise machine, this trainer does what I wanted.Assembly was rather frustrating (took my boyfriend and I about 2 hrs). Be careful to assemble all pieces in the right order and to make sure items are in the correct position. We installed one of the foot pads backwards and the first time I stepped on it to test it, it cracked. Luckily, it was on the far edge, doesn't affect use, and nothing super-glue can't fix.Using the machine as an elliptical (which was the primary purpose I bought it) is comfortable and easy. There is some sway, but that's to be expected. The seated position is far less comfortable for me. I'm 5'4", and have to lean far forward to grasp the bars. The moving hand bars swing out too far to use and the stand-up bars are too far forward to use comfortably while pedaling. I can do it for a time, but the effort is fatiguing on my back. All in all, I can get a nice work out, get my heart rate up, and can get exercise at home without paying a gym membership, so I'll take it as a win.
