A great replacement portafilter and non pressurised basket for the Delonghi Dedica.The included non pressurised basket enables you to get the most out of your coffee (if you have a good burr coffee grinder).The bottomless portafilter is great for watching the extraction and spotting channelling issues in the coffee puck. It's substantial with a nice wooden handle so it looks and feels premium. It's also much easier to keep clean than the stock portafilter which came with the Dedica. Plus, it's possible to position the portafilter level on the surface which makes even and level tamping easier too.We'll see how long the chrome finish lasts and I did have to file back the 2 shot marker in the basket to make tamping a little easier but that only took a few mins of sanding.All in all a highly recommended upgrade for the Dedica.

Firstly, the delivery of the product took over a month since placing the order.Upon arriving the product felt lightweight, components are loosely screwed in place.I bought this with the idea of using it with the Delonghi Dedica as it is described as a 51mm portafilter - when using the product it did not feel as though it was securely in place when attaching it to the espresso pump like the default portafilter.My first attempt using resulted in watery espresso with no crema.
