Battery life and function are great!
It’s not a PS brand controller, but it functions just as well, charges just the same, and lasts just as long. The PS home button is triangular instead of circle (a feature I rather like). My only concern is the lifespan of the grip on the joysticks. Maybe I’m a little rough on mine, but just after four months of regular use on of the joysticks is beginning to lightly peel.

Good replacement controller
Only been using this controller for about a week but so far it’s working just as well as the original Sony controller. The battery life doesn’t seem to be quite as long lasting as the original but not enough to really complain about. I can’t speak to the longevity at this time, but it feels pretty solid so far.For 1/3 the price of a Sony controller I would say this is a great value.

The perfect replacement!
This is honestly the perfect PS4 controller, i dont know how this is only 20-25 dollars. Ive had 2 controllers in the past, an original Dualshock 4 and a 3rd party controller (a really bad controller). And i can tell you right now that this feels EXACTLY like a 70 dollar DualshockIt has pretty much the same weight as an original (maybe even heavier), no latency (or so little its unnoticeable), no hollow feeling and everything is just compact. I was scared this wouldnt be good for FPS games, but i played Apex Legends with it for a few hours and it works perfectly. Thankfully, theres no built in deadzone, no sensitivity difference between horizontal or vertical. Its just really damn good. The only thing that might feel strange is the feel of the triggers and joysticks. They feel a little stiffer and need just a little bit more of force to reach the other end. But even then, you cant feel plastic rubbing on plastic so thats good.Battery life is also solid. Clocks in at around 4-6 hours on a full charge and charges pretty quickly. Though the charging port is a bit deep into the plastic, so not all usb cables will work if they are too thick. All in all, this is perfect controller if youre looking for an actually good 3rd party with the feel of a Dualshock. Highly reccomend! Will edit this review after maybe a month to see how long it lasts.

I DID IT! CONNECTED TO MAC AND IPHONE
I DID IT! I was able to get the controller to connect to my Mac and iPhone. At first it seemed like it wouldn’t work and I was frustrated, but I kept messing with it (and used the instructions as a guide rather than a step by step) and finally got it to connect. First I charged it in the wall. After the orange light went off, I plugged it into my computer to connect it to the “base” (or whatever they call it) for the first time. When I plugged it in my computer via USB, the orange light came on again, so I let it charge until the light went off again then tried to connect with the instructions. That didn’t work. I Unplugged the controller and held the Share and triangle/power button for more than 10 seconds. I’m pretty sure the “white” (it’s more blue really” light flashed and after a while it turned purple and the controller showed up on the bluetooth options. The instructions say you have to connect the first time with the controller plugged into the base, but it would not work plugged into my computer. It wasn’t even really responding. If only worked once I unplugged it. The I held the L1, R1, and power button for a while until the light went off to turn off/disconnect. Then I turned off my computer Bluetooth and turned on my phone’s Bluetooth. I did the same thing with my phone, holding the Share and power buttons until it flashed the whitish-blue light, and let my phone try to find it. I don’t remember if it connected after I let go of the buttons or if I held them down until it showed up in Bluetooth, but it was one of those two ways. Once my phone found it, it connected quickly and has been working great since! I can’t speak to longevity, battery life or anything else, but for the 30min I’ve used it so far, it’s worked great. I just wish the instructions were more helpful so it didn’t take a couple hours of trial and error to make it happen. I can see why some people think it doesn’t work. It wasn’t an easy, straight forward process.

Read the instructions for initial connection needed.
Works well with Apple iPad Pro for casual gaming. State of battery charge indicator would be nice and willing to pay a little extra for feature.

Great controller!
I bought this for my iPad and it works beautifully. The buttons on the screen of my game are the classic PS shape buttons. I bought a backbone by PlayStation for my phone and it reads like an Xbox controller which I’m very disappointed about. This is a way cheaper option and better imo.

Not sure the long-term durability but so far so good
I have gone through two Sony official PlayStation 4 controllers in a year, but with stick drift issues. And I don't even play my PS4 much. Decided to go with a third-party controller for 1/3rd the price. I have only had it a couple days but so far so good. Honestly feels a bit heavier than the official PS4 controller (in a good way)Fully charged battery and it was good to go from the start just plug and play no issues. Buttons and joy sticks are responsive. I dont have much expectations but if it lasts longer a year I'll call it a win.

Good for casual playing, with a small fix needed
Works great, especially for the price. But the sensitivity of the sticks are messed up and require recalibration, otherwise some games are literally unplayable. If you run into the same issues as I did with the stick sensitivity, this fixed it for me:1. Turn the PS4 off2. Reset the controller by finding the reset hole on the top right of the controller just to the left of the top right screw and pushing in a paperclip or other object and holding for at least 5 seconds3. Gently press and hold in both analog sticks for 30 seconds straight4. Release and rotate both sticks clockwise simultaneously at least 5 times5. Rotate both sticks counter-clockwise simultaneously at least 5 times6. Gently press and hold in both analog sticks for 30 seconds straight
