American DJ JellyFish LED Powered Effect Light

Its bright and makes interesting patterns set for sound activation. You have to adjust the sensitivity to get it to respond with your music. I wish I had a controller or some type of device to make more interesting patterns that are specific to the type of songs being played. I love my Rock Band stage kit and how the lights are programmed with the music. Other then that it looks good on or off and I would recommend it to anyone with a home karaoke setup. I just need to find something to make the patterns more unique. I bought this used from Amazon and the mounting bracket was missing, oh well, it was relatively inexpensive and I just set it on top of a book shelf.

I spent many hours watching the reviews and demos on YouTube on this light and many others. In my opinion, this type of light strikes the perfect balance with regard to brightness, pattern, size, and presentation (looks sweet) without having the overdone feel of some of the light setups you see out there. It also feels solid and appears to be very well made. The clear case is especially cool as the housing lights up as well which gives you a second effect. I purchased one to make sure I would like it, used it several times and promptly ordered another with a DMX cable to run in Master/Slave which I feel it really looks the best in. I will set them up where I have seen them on several other Mobile DJ's setups which is mounted right under the speakers on the stand aiming into the crowd and dance floor or pointed from there on any wall, ceiling, or floor. It has a very entertaining variety of patterns that keep you guessing. I am very pumped to to use them at my next gig. In addition to these, I purchased two Eliminator Electro Swarms that I will link as Master/Slave and mount on my 12 foot Eliminator Lighting Stand. Add a little fog and get ready to light up the party and own the mood. I recommend this light to anyone looking for a great light at a reasonable price.

Bought the ADJ LED Quad first which blew me away. The Jellyfish effects are awesome but not as bright as the Quad. That was kind of dissappointing for me, but it does add to your show. I project it on a wall. Also have the LED lasers and Vertigo tri LED. Not a pro here, just like to play.

Neat effect - lots of capability for such a small unit. Use only in small venues........unless you get 3 or more. In absence of smoke or fog you must illuminate a wall, ceiling or hanging fabric. The patterns get lost on the floor.

Great for effects and kids really love to watch the colors change. I enjoy mine.

I am a professional DJ and have used many types of lighting. The jellyfish makes a far more better light show than was expected. Now we have 2 that we use when lighting is required.

I was excited to get my Jellyfish and take it for a test drive at my latest wedding gig. What a complete waste of my money!!! The room you use it in has to be completely dark for you to really see it on the floor. If you project it onto something (wall/ceiling/fog) it helps but it is still hard to see. I'm sure it has applications that it is a good fit for, but if you're a mobile DJ I'd strongly recommend you invest in something else. If you're anything like me, you often DJ rooms where there is a fair amount of natural light coming into the room (golf courses for example) and it doesn't really get totally dark out until 9:30-10pm. Well, if you're playing 7pm-12midnight you can only use and appreciate the light for a fraction of the event. What a bummer. I thought it would be an inexpensive option for a neat effect. To summarize: know that the light isn't very strong and know your application before you spend your money. Good luck and much success to you!

I purchased this light to replace two heavy motorized LED lights for my DJ business. I does a great job of lighting up the dance floor. I use the sound activated feature, it works fine. This light is very light weight. The first time I used it I received many complements on how pretty the light was. I really like the way it lights up as well as the light projection. I plan to purchase another of these lights to add to my light show.

da ich ein Lichtorgel Fan bin und mir etwas fürs Heim zulegen wollte kam mir das Angebot recht gelegen. Ich hatte keine genaue Vorstellung wie das Gerät letztendlich arbeitet denn die Beschreibungen sagten nicht viel aus. Ich habe es bei mir im Automatikmodus laufen und finde die Arbeitsweise Klasse.Sehr oft habe ich den Eindruck dass es genau auf die Stimmung der Musik passt und durch Bass gesteuerte Trigger kommen die Effekte auch auf den Punkt. Durch den Wechsel des Gruneffekts wird es nie eintönig. Einfach einschalten und machen lassen ;-).

Ich bin begeistert. Geräuschlos...da kein Motor etc.schickt der Jellyfish seine Strahlen auf den Dancefloor.Es gibt unendliche Einstellungen die über Tasten und ein Display programmiert werden können. Ich nutze kein DMX und bin mit der Soundsteuerung bestens bedient. Das Gerät zaubert bunte Kreise auf den Boden oder da hin wo man es gerne möchte :-)Der Hingucker schlechthin da das Gehäuse durchsichtig ist und dementsprechend bunt leuchtet.

sehr sparsame Partybeleuchtung mit vielen vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, macht einfach Spaß, ist auch sehr leise, einfach ach ein tolles "Speilzeug" für meinen Mann

Ich persönnlich mag diese Gerät für zuverlässigkeit und Licht Ausstrahlung.Sehr schnell wurde gelifert,Komplett,gut verpackt.-Danke. Das sind eigentlich 2 Effekte in einem , transparrenten Gehauser. Dank DMX,UC3-Controller lässt sich gut steuern und Master-Slave Funktion ist einfach geil mit Jelly fish! Sehr Bewegliche LED licht, keine Mechanische Teile drin , sehr leicht vom Gewicht hier.Alleinstand, dank Musiksteuerung durch micro. Diese Funktion ist sehr leicht mit Regler einstellbar.Nur empfehle zum kaufen und faszinieren.
