Works well for 802.11g
Update1: Purchased from Techno RV via Amazon. Reducing stars until customer service issue resolved.Update2: TechnoRV sent the replacement cable. Satisfied with the outcome. [end update]Good product for 802.11g. Would be nice if it supported more modern 802.11n or ac, but is what it is. Luckily, all the campgrounds we visited were still using legacy Wi-Fi. Keep in mind, this will only boost the Wi-Fi network signal; if the campground has a low speed or crappy connection to the interwebs, you'll get a more powerful signal to a low speed or crappy connection. When we received the unit, it didn't work. After a bit of troubleshooting, we determined the extended USB cable was faulty. We contacted the seller via email and got a prompt response! They stated they would ship a replacement cable and verified the shipping address. We have yet to receive the replacement. Fortunately, we had the foresight to purchase a 10ft cable (via Amazon), and with a little modification (shaving down connector corners), we were able to enjoy our trip and make use of the product.Again: good product, works well, needs to be updated to current Wi-Fi standards, customer service lacking a bit.

The outside installation.
I purchased this unit and it did not work per instructions. I did return it and their tech support was quick to ask why and could they ship a replacement. I said no and looked around for another unit. Needless to say, after a lot of searching and the price, I ordered it again and it did not disappoint. I tested it by driving away from my home until the wifi on my phone lost the wifi connection. Plugged in the unit and WHAM instant wifi. Good product.

Works well when the specific situation comes up!
I like the thought behind this product and it will not work for everyone’s situation. Being in the WiFi management world I understand how to set this up and use some of the more advanced features. I do wish the internal unit was a dual band and had 5GHz as well. I may experiment with a Raspberry or other to replace the internal unit when I have time. I’m in a perfect scenario for the unit this weekend camping. The campground WiFi AP near my site that is run from the campground store router is down however the stores WiFi is up. I used the external omni directional 2.4Ghz antenna to connect to the stores WiFi and then used the internal unit to connect all my devices (sentence for ones that may want more info on how it works). First time out and already benefiting from it! I did also buy a higher gain directional 2.4Ghz antenna and replaced the omni once I got a connection and pointed it toward the store and got a -54dBi which is great (-65 - 67 on the Omni) I have not seen the disconnecting issues like some have experienced but I do have the version 2 and Campground WiFi could be the blame in a lot of cases.

Strong signal, but garbage firmware
This product is easy to set up and install, and boasts a strong signal boost to nearby hotspots.Unfortunately, this product is crippled by garbage firmware that doesn’t know how to maintain connections or access wifi hotspot splash pages (which is virtually all of them). The CampPro2 loses connection to either the hotspot or the device connected through every few seconds. It’s almost impossible to get anything done because the connection has to be reset constantly.Bottom line, this product will be going into the next dumpster I come to. I don’t even want to return it on the chance they might try to rebox this and sell it to some other unsuspecting soul as an open-box product. Waste of $200.If you value your sanity and your time, find a more reliable product.

Works, Affordable and Easy to Install
The CampPro2v2 (which supposedly has an updated chipset for higher throughput speeds) worked as expected on my one test out in my RV with my home hotspot. I have yet to take it out on a road trip, but that is coming in 30 days. I needed a WiFi extender for work purposes (Cell signal booster will be a separate purchase). This was easy to install and worked well. My download speeds were not as great as connecting directly to my home hotspot (like half the speed), but my upload performance increased almost 4 times. Also, I called tech support with one of their authorized distributors-Rokland and got all of my questions answered and the bonus was they were located in Gainesville, Florida just south of us! I would definitely recommend this product for someone travelling in an RV.

Doesn’t do what it advertises
It was a well made product and the set up is super easy thanks to the extra instruction sheet and well written instructions.Ultimately I know it’s our poor WiFi signal at our camp ground but isn’t that the point of needing this device?......and I admit I expected a miracle with this but I was disappointed that it really hasn’t helped at all. Since it does cost a bit more than some devices on the market I was at least hoping that it would keep a consistent signal if not a great one ....at least a steady one. It doesn’t even do that We tried moving it etc as the guide said but nothing helps. We are pretty disappointed that it didn’t help even a little bit for the amount we paid for it. Some improvement in signal would have been great. But people with poor WiFi to start are their target consumers.....but I guess it only works with a great signal to begin with.It was a good thought

It works better than I expected
BLUF; I now have 25 mps download and 13 upload speeds with the outdoor antenna placed in a place where my iPhone couldn’t even detect the wifi source. We live on a sailboat and because of the corona virus we decided to hunker down at a small marina on the ICW in Florida. The Cell reception is horrible but the marina has wifi. We are a few hundred feet from the wifi source and couldn’t detect it with our mobile devices. I hooked this system up today now we can access the Internet or stream tv/movies . Tmobile is sending me a wifi puck so hopefully our cell service will be better when coupled with this system. Its fairly simple to install to get up and running and everything that you need is included it the box. I will update this review if anything changes however I am very pleased on day one.
