So fun, but be careful with connector pieces — they break!
The media could not be loaded. There is so much play value, even for adults in this set! My little kids love watching the cars zoom around and eventually wreck (they all go slightly different speeds). This makes for some fun family play time that interests everyone! We bought two of the big sets and would still love more of the elevation-changing tracks! You can make some complex tracks with a couple of sets (see video— we didn’t use all the pieces). My 16-month-old sat on one piece and broke the connector the first time we used it. The track pieces that are connected to risers need to be treated delicately, as the connectors are very easy to break. The non-track tiles are compatible with most brands’ standard tiles. They aren’t needed for use of this set, but it is always nice to have more building options.Word of caution — make sure kids with long hair do not get the cars unattended, unless they can be responsible to keep them away from their hair! We had both daughters get their hair stuck in the wheels!

Great for younger kids
My 2 year old is obsessed with these! He loves to help build and then watch the cars go for a long time! Totally worth it for younger kids who don’t know what to build other than building up

Great for creativity, careful with pieces
I bought this 80 piece set and the 100 piece set. The track works fantastic and is great for creativity. However the cars are hit and miss, we had an issue with the car on the 80 piece set and it won't go around the track, it jams up and goes very slow. Tried several batteries. The 80 piece set actually was packaged nicer in the box than the 100 piece set. But this set had the better running cars so we returned the 80 piece set. The car has to stay away from hairs or strings so they don't get caught up in the wheels and the little pegs that clip the raised pieces together can be somewhat fragile with younger kids. Age range has been great for 4-6.

Easy track expansion for nonstop racing fun
Used for expanding a magnetic car track in a playroom.Tip: Make sure it clicks in with original PicassoTiles sets—some off-brands don’t match. What I like• Snaps in easily with other magnetic track pieces• Durable and holds up well to rough play• Adds fun twists and turns to race car setupsWhat could be better• Only 12 pieces—could use more variety in shapes• Doesn’t come with cars, just track piecesBottom line: A fun and sturdy add-on for magnetic track fans. Perfect for kids who already have a PicassoTiles race set, but look at larger expansion packs if you want more creative layouts.

Buy them and reduce dependence on TV
The media could not be loaded. Buy it I’d give it a 4.5 if I could, but overall we are having so much fun and I’d buy it again a thousand times over. Important notes: my 3 year old daughter’s hair has gotten caught in the car wheels twice in the first day (leaning over the track when the cars go by) easily remedied by a hair tie, but other parents should be aware how easily it happens. The cars are also super fast and will fly off the track. Luckily the hair getting stuck in the wheels fixed that problem lol. Maybe using older batteries would also slow them down so they stay on the track. I love that there are endless possibilities with this. We used other magnetic tiles to build a city around the tracks and the track go “through” the buildings. Overall, my daughter chooses these over TV and spends HOURS building.

Creative fun for the whole family!
The media could not be loaded. I got this for my 3.5 year old for Christmas thinking he would enjoy the cars going around the tracks and the creativity of making it his own. However, even my husband and I really enjoy making new and different tracks and we end up all together building bridges, towns, and tracks of every kind! We use these daily! The tiles are all high quality and colorful. This particular bundle came with plenty of tiles and support beams, but we ended up getting an extension pack of more ramps and support beams to be able to make even bigger builds! I'm considering getting another bundle as well because we love them so much. They are easy to store away in tubs or bins or I've heard many people use the 3 tiered metal shelf carts as well. The magnetic cars do require batteries but they are very long lasting. They light up and look cool on the track. Highly recommend! This was our best purchase for Christmas.

Kid loves it but breaks easily
I'm giving this a 3 star only because it is fun and my child loves it so much. After playing with this for the last couple hours with my kid, I've learned a few things:First, It is VERY hard for a child to pull apart the tiles from the bridge supports without breaking the little nibs off. In a couple hours, my son has already broken 3 supports and gotten the nibs stuck inside 3 pieces of track. On top of this, some of the tracks don't want to click into the support nibs easily, so you either can't use those supports or you have to almost force them together and then, again, they are very hard for even an adult to pull apart without breaking them.Second, the magnets in these tiles are pretty weak, especially compared to all the other magnet tile sets we have. As soon as he bumps the track even a little bit, they pull apart and have to be fixed or the cars won't work.Third, it only takes a couple hours of intermittent use for these cars to drain an Energizer AA battery. One of the best batteries you can buy, and a tiny car drains it in a couple hours? And they weren't even consistently on. That just seems a bit ridiculous. What's going on in this car that that's all the play he gets with a good battery?Overall, yes this track is very fun, a really cool toy that my son absolutely loves to play with. But the durability is crap, and the tracks don't stick together well. Would I recommend it? Sure, if you have that much money to blow, your kid will definitely enjoy it. But don't expect it to last very long, at least not the bridge supports. And expect to go through some batteries quickly.
