Arrived on time but the packaging was inadequate, the item clearly suffered from rough handling during shipping and I was lucky it arrived without more serious damage (there were minor dents and scrapes on some components though). Loses a star for that. Construction is fairly good and all functions work as intended. My main reason for choosing this grinder is the small size - I simply don't have room nor a need for a large 2x72" grinder and anyway, I won't be doing any large scale knife grinder etc. For grinding lathe tools however it's perfect and material removal at full speed with a coarse belt is impressive. With a fine grade belt the finish is excellent and swapping belts over is very fast. Those are two advantages this belt grinder has over your standard bench grinder (I also have an 8" dia bench grinder and a 4" linisher). In addition the grinding surface can either be flat or curved whilst you are stuck with the curved radius of the grind wheel of a bench grinder. My linisher is OK for wood but metal removal is too slow. There are a variety of minor mods I have planned to improve useability (such as adding thumb screws for adjusting the worktable), needing to use a hex wrench every time is a bit of a pain. Overall I can recommend buying this but look carefully at the design as other limitations not mentioned by me are fairly obvious, it suits my requirements though.

Ich bin von dieser China-Maschine positiv überrascht, macht einen vernünftigen Eindruck und läuft sehr ruhig. Die Drehzahl ist stufenlos einstellbar (Frequenzweiche dabei!).Es gibt ein zwei Kleinigkeiten die nicht ganz perfekt gelöst sind, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Lieferzeit war nur 3 Tage.Kleine Anleitung in Deutsch liegt bei, es gibt einige Anmerkungen wie der Motor angeschaltet werden darf, um die Elektronik nicht zu beschädigen.

Lo compré porque me parecía lo ideal para mi trabajo de cuchillería pero me ha sorprendido que no vengan las instrucciones de montaje. Viene un pequeño panfleto en inglés sobre el tema eléctrico y algunas precauciones pero las fotos las he tenido que sacar del propio catálogo de Amazon . Todavía no la he podido montar y no puedo valorar su trabajo. Más adelante añadiré mi impresión si no la devuelvo. Una máquina tan delicada necesita instrucciones claras de montaje con croquis o con fotografías. Sólo vienen dos bandas abrasiva y de muy poca calidad. Si fuera posible me gustaría que Amazon o quien fuera me enviara un manual de instrucciones completo y en español lo antes posible . también me gustaría saber las medidas exactas de las correas de lija de todos los grIts para poder tener repuestos, sobre todo de las más finas para afilar cuchillos Y para devastar madera y metales
