Flimsy LMS 9U Data Cabinet - 500mm Deep
Received the LMS Data C-Series cabinet with no significant structural damage and hoped all was well although was concerned by the thin gauge steel used on structural robustness. On setting up to install shelves and equipment it became apparent that the rack pillars were so thin they were unable to support weight of a cantilever shelf alone. Furthermore, the door did not support its own weight sufficiently that it had to be lifted into place when closing. This was due to poor tolerances between hinge pins and cabinet body. The cabinet was supplied without a shelf as advertised but the supplier did kindly remedy the problem by dispatching a shelf. Unfortunately, the shelf was delivered by dropping the package over my garden gate which resulted in damage to the shelf. In any case the missing shelf again was far too heavy and too large to be fitted.I have since attempted to order a non-cantilever flat shelf which could be mounted at each corner to the cabinet rack pillars to improve stability but this has proved a disaster as the descriptions on Amazon and what is received significantly differ.Overall the design aesthetics of the cabinet are good but the flimsy materials let it down, i.e. thin gauge steel and structurally useless mounting pillars. I suspect this is the norm for these products sourced on the cheap from usual markets.

Not very robust
The rack is Ok for light use - but as others have said, it is quite flimsy.Once you get to populate the rack with more than a couple of shelves, patch panels and a router, it starts to sag quite significantly - so the removable side panels become quite key for strength! So you can't remove them as the rack sags even more and then they won't go back in.I am going to find a stronger rack to replace it.

Poor build quality
1) Top left of the case was dented2) Top edge of the glass panel was chipped3) Door is slantedOverall build quality is poor.Update:The company has phoned me in regards to this and they offer a replacement unit or full refund. Overall the service was good, but the product is disappointing.

Garbage not recommended
Absolute garbage, the metal supports are pressed metal and won’t support anything above a patch panel without twisting. A deep cabinet is obviously required for deep products which tend to weigh more than a feather

Not bad at all
Perfectly fine rack, a little thin on the material thickness but at this price I'd expect a little compromise. It's a real shame it doesn't have the option for casters.
