Value for money, filters a little pricey
Holds more water that the other filters. Also better filter technology does not leave black residue as some of the other filters do

Waterdrop Filter Jug
I love this water filter jug. However downside is I need to order more water filter cartridges for this Waterdrop jug and I can’t find any that are compatible either on Amazon or anywhere else. So at the moment this water filter jug is rapidly becoming a white elephant. Also the indicater that tells you when you need to replace the cartridge isn’t working and probably stopped working quite early on after I purchased the jug so I need to replace that which I won’t be doing if I cannot purchase any more cartridges. Also I have not been able to register the jug for its guarantee after countless attempts even messages from the seller of this product proved fruitless so I have given up on that. It’s such a shame as it is a good product, water tastes great far better than it did, great that the cartridge lasts 3 months or 200 gallons of water filtered. But it’s disappointing that the filter cartridges are not freely available and that the indicator does not last. So I really am hoping I don’t have to go back to a water filter cartridge that needs to be changed every month which I really do not want to do, as well we have hard water in our area and this Waterdrop filter seems to cope with that very well. So please iron these problems out. Thanks

Better Than Britta!!
I was looking for something to replace my Britta jug plus wanted it to have a larger capacity. After reading the reviews on here & doing my research I decided on this. I'm so happy I did,its much better not only looks wise but filters much faster. The water tastes fresher than with the Britta although unsure why but I'm not complaining at all. I live in a very hard water area so a filter is a must otherwise limescale takes over & you get a funny taste in your mouth which is hard to describe. The wooden handle is very stylish & sturdy at the same time. The filter lasts for 90days but with our water it will probably last just over 1/2 that time!!I 100% reccomend this filter jug & may even buy some as presents for my kids for in their homes xx

Disappointing
I bought this product because I found the Brita filters weren't filtering out the limescale as effectively as they used to. Unfortunately these are worse and doesn't seem to filter it out at all.The water does taste great and it filters the water really quickly, but it doesn't really do what I'd mainly bought it for. I bought a year's supply of filters as I note the company itself doesn't appear to make the filters anymore. All in all the water tastes great and it filters quickly but as for reducing limescale, sadly it's an epic fail.Update: October 2020 Credit where it's due, now using the filters bought separately and they are doing their job! I no longer have to wash the kettle after every use. Maybe the original filter was old.

Avoid! Health risk
I’ve owned this for roughly a year now.DO NOT BUY THIS THING: Useless features made this into a serious health hazard! The jug has a light at the back of the lid to let you know when to replace the filter. The battery died after just a few months, I was annoyed, but didn’t see it as necessary to use and disregarded it.While changing the filter today, I thought to see how much work it would be to replace the battery. Turns out it’s a (somewhat) sealed unit.Waterdrop will sell you a replacement to the unit for about £9, expecting the old one to be thrown away. Anything but environmentally friendly. While removing the old unit from the case, I noticed it was filthy, with what I presumed to be stagnant water on my hands. I had no idea how as I clean the jug every time I swap the filter.Proceeding to open the case and see if I could just swap this battery myself, just a slight squeeze of the case leaked the same dirty water spilled out on my hands. It was not just stagnant water, as water is able to enter the unit through the poorly designed button on top, it must have shorted the battery inside. The plastic unit was full of what I can only presume to be either ACID or RUST.(Please see my attached photos (for nightmares))May I remind you this is an item designed to make drinking water safer. Usually, products intended to do that don’t turn it into POISON!Eager to hear what Waterdrop have to say to defend this, and if they’ll offer to buy me a Britta jug that won’t poison me and my family.

Large, modern and fast filtering.
This water filter is large, i could probably fit in 1.45 maybe 2 litres of water (you do have to wait for the first jug to filter before adding more). The filling hole works a treat... as soon as a trickle of water hits it it opens to allow you to fill the filter without having to take off the lid.The four main things that drew me to this filter and not a more common named one was the size, how long the filter lasts, ease of use and lastly how modern it looks. It is very sturdy although it is heavy if you do fill it right up.This has pleasantly surprised me.(I will update the review if the filter does not last the stated time/usage as ive only had it a week).

Every Drop Counts!
I'm really liking this new water jug & the filters too.You get nice clear water, also filters all the nasty water from the normal tap water.I give this a "10 out of 10" all round, it's well worth buying one plus it helps with the unclean water for all of the children in Africa and that's a bonus for me. It helps for all the families that have nothing out there. Thanks to "Water Drop Company"Thank you very much!!I'm a happy customer.

Very happy with my purchase
I have had a Br**a jug for some time and it came time to order some new filters. Having looked at the price, I saw the Waterdrop product and checked it out.The jug comes with one filter and is very nicely and sustainably packaged. A quick rinse, installation of the supplied filter and a flushing of two jugfuls and I was good to go.The great thing about the Waterdrop filters is that they last 90 days or 757 litres of filtering. My previous filters needed to be replaced every 4-6 weeks.
