Journey Without Distance: The Story Behind a Course in Miracles

When I first began to read A Course In Miracles.....I was turned off by subtle hidden doubt regarding it's authenticity.MY HISTORY: I heard about then attended a music concert in Seattle that introduced a new Symphoney entitled: Journey Without Distance.I bought the book w/same name....it changed my attitude and understanding and belief in ACIM.The integrity and believable nature of each key participant (especially Helen Schucman) was immediate and irrevocable. SERIOUS READERS, I do believe:JOURNEY WITHOUT DISTANCE is a required reading for ANYONE interested in seriously reading ACIM.

As a student of A Course in Miracles, I was fascinated to learn the miraculous back story.

This is a very informative story on the creation of A Course In Miracles. The details about the personalities and the events are quite amazing, but then the fact that the Course is in our hands is a miracle in itself. What stands out for me is the dedication that Helen and Bill gave to this work. This book brings out the history quite well and I found the reading of it captivating. I could hardly put it down until I finished it.

I had heard about A Course in Miracles, so I bought it. When I started to read it, I found that I could only understand about every fourth sentence. I wondered, "What is this?" My engineer's mind needed some help in understanding just what it was. I bought Journey Without Distance to find out what A Course in Miracles (ACIM) was all about. I found the account to be credible as well as an enjoyable read. I was not put off by the notion of "channeled" material, because I was in the process of learning how to do it myself. I suppose there are many who discount the validity of it. So I became convinced that ACIM is legitimate, and I persevered and subsequently joined a study group to help me adapt to a new way of thinking. It's been over two years since. I want to give credit where it is due. I strongly urge anyone new to ACIM to become familiar with its background. Journey Without Distance is an excellent aid.

Very interesting story about one woman's journey to find meaning during a period of awakening. An important work that sets the reader on a journey of his/her own. It changed my life forever. I loved it.

A wonderful book for anyone who is interested in the Course in Miracles. I read this 20 years ago and became interested in the Course. I recommend this for anyone who is thinking about starting the Course in Miracles or just wants to know more about how it was written.

This is an AMAZING account of the true story of how the Course in Miracles came about, and how it has helped so many.

This is a book for all to read when of to study A course in Miracles. Robert Skutch obviously to know all from his own personal experience and knowledge about the persons in the book.
