Excellent shower head once restrictor is removed
I regretted spending money on this shower head before the water restrictor was removed. The water pressure was low like a sprinkle and not worth the asking price. After water restrictor was removed it was a night and day difference. Enormous amount of water flow and pressure. The magnetic handle/shower head combo is very nicely designed and integrated. Overall, extremely satisfied after water restrictor was removed, it actually does have the massage effect. Special thanks for the top reviewer that called out the removal of the restrictor. To some of the other reviewers that complained the paint was pealing off....well, the "chrome" version is usually thin layer of shinny chrome plated on top of plastic. Solid chrome would probably be too heavy for shower head/wand. Maybe the stainless steel version is 100% solid and not plated, but anything plated will eventually chip/peel overtime.Another reviewer mentioned water restrictor in the hand wand - I only had to remove the main one and the water pressure was already extremely strong. The water pressure from the wand matched the pressure from the shower head so I'm not sure what he removed was a water restrictor or something else. Maybe he had a different model, either way I was happy when the main one was removed and didn't want to use a drillbit and risk damaging the wand.Overall installation process for me was almost as simple as screwing on and off a light bulb. Just needed to add plumber tape to the thread, screw it on, tighten it with a clamp and it was done in 5mins. Hope this helps.

Very convenient, good water flow when 'fixed'
I got this for my master bathroom where my wife and I never agreed on what type of showerhead to get. I prefer the wider ones, while my wife prefers the handheld ones where you can detach it from the wall. This is the best of both worlds... one unit where we are both happy.Installation was quick and easy. The unit is very solid, and impressively built. The button and switches are sturdy with a positive 'snap' to them. The showerhead is held in place by a strong magnet which works very well.As for the water pressure, I've installed countless showerheads over the last couple of decades... I can't remember the last time I saw a showerhead without a restrictor designed to reduce the flow of water. Years ago they use to explain how to remove them in the installation instructions, but not anymore. This showerhead includes one as well and is easy to remove (see attached photo)...1) Remove the swivel adapter (AKA ball fitting) from the back of the wide sprayer by unscrewing it.2) Inside the swivel adapter, you will find a rubber washer with a metal screen filter... remove it by prying it out, but be careful not to damage it.3) Behind the rubber washer/filter is the lavender-colored flow restrictor. Push it out from behind (wider end of the swivel adapter). It may take a good push, but it is only held in place by friction.4) Replace the rubber washer/filter and reinstall the swivel adapter. This procedure is completely reversible. Also be aware that removing the restrictor will increase water usage as well as power usage since your water heater will have to work more.Overall, one of the best showerheads I've ever used, and easily the most convenient.

Leaky Delta shower head
First thing out of the box what I noticed is that it's almost all plastic...for a $135 shower head...really? I realize that there are a lot of shower heads that are way more than $135 but I'm sorry if I am going to pay $135 for a shower head, it needs to be made out of better materials...shame on you Delta. I was always told how great Delta was, maybe they're coasting on a reputation. The hose for the hand held was outstanding, a real quality hose. It's metal outer and had some stretch to it. It also had a little heft to it and bent really easy. The main reason that I didn't like it and sent it back was because it leaked terribly and did not have good pressure. In the attached picture, I have an arrow pointing to the area that leaked. It was more of a spray than a leak. it was even spraying over the shower curtain. The water was coming out of that joint in about 4 places. I tried to tighten it and it made a minor difference but there was still a lot coming out and I was really cranking on it, was afraid that it might break.I attribute the low pressure to the leak as well. Maybe without the leak, the pressure would have been okay. When it was on the setting that was the large outer ring only, it worked well but I didn't care for that mode only. There was a big empty space in the center without water. The mist mode work also. All of the other modes were weak.Amazon's return process was lightening fast. They emailed me a paid return label, I boxed it back up and sent my daughter to the UPS store. Amazon sent me an email within about five minutes of my daughter dropping it off at the UPS place indicating that they had just refunded my money!

This 2-in-1 shower head does everything it says!
I love this Delta showerhead with the built-in hand-held component. It installed in seconds with no tools. I was completely surprised that I did not have to remove the water-conserving parts, as my apartment has poor water pressure, and another reviewer reported the opposite. In fact, I was amazed at how powerful the pressure is with this shower head. Taking a shower is now such an entirely new experience that I sometimes feel like taking a second shower just to enjoy the effects of the showerhead. I like that I can have the showerhead running or not running while I use the handheld component, and that it so easily attaches and re-attaches from and to the shower-head. The showerhead and handheld component are both completely adjustable as to the circumference, force, and manner of emission of the water, and it's nice to change it up while showering. I did notice a tad too much of plastic, but suspect it will be durable and if not that Delta would mar good on their warranty, which is "for as long as the purchaser owns the home in which it was installed".

Excellent shower head with a lot of options!
I upgraded to this shower head a few weeks ago and am really impressed. There are a lot of options for how to change the water flow and the hand held being mounted with magnets works really well. Only issue was that with the restrictor in it the pressure was just far too low, however once it was removed the pressure was great! So here are some tips.It does not come with teflon tape, so buy yourself a small roll (1/2 inch is fine) and use it wrap all connections to ensure you will not have any leaks. If you like showers with higher pressure, you will want to remove the restrictor plate before installing the shower head. Fortunately It is very easy to remove. First step is to remove the rubber o-ring that has a mesh in it. I just used a pair of small needle nose pliers and pulled out the seal. Be careful not to damage it. Second you will need to remove the plastic water flow restrictor. I found the easiest way to remove it was just to use a wine bottle opener. Twist it into the plastic and when you have a grip on it pull the restrictor out. That is it! Now put the rubber o-ring back in place and you are ready to install your new shower head. I have attached some photos showing how to remove the restrictor plate.

Incredibly disappointing
Spent the money to upgrade my old Delta in2ition showerhead to a more modern look and function in this black one and the old one I had was so much. The water flow being 1.75GPM is awful to try and shower off shampoo or soap. Even having a plumber install and fix the leaking issues still means the connection joints to the shower arm and the hose readily leak. The magnet is not very steady and I can see this failing in the long term.

Great Shower Head
Plenty of water without the 2 restrictors. Maybe more than necessary. Mine was a warehouse deal where someone already removed the flow restrictors. I'd recommend just leaving the main restrictor in and removing just the o-ring first to see if it's suitable. YouTube can show you how.The hand held sprayer is great for bathing the doggo.

Works very well
I'm coming from the Thunderhead rain shower head https://www.amazon.ca/Thunderhead-TH2-5-Pressure-Shower-White/dp/B000PUHVMU/ref=sr_1_7?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1533678346&sr=1-7&keywords=rain+shower+head which I was using coupled with a hand held head and a flow diversion valve. Basically I had a good setup and I'm used to getting drenched in water from the thunderhead which has a pretty good flow of water. This Delta 58480-PK without the flow regulator has a pretty good output, not as much as the thunderhead but close. The biggest plus though is the pause button on the handheld, works perfectly for our application as I shave in the shower and saves me from having to completely shut down and then readjust the temperature.Removing the flow regulator was easy, could not pull it out because the small "teeth" to pull the plastic piece broke, so I had to push it out by inserting a large nail (nail head towards the plastic piece) and hitting it with a hammer, came up pretty easily that way. I didn't test before and after so I can't say how much the flow changed.

Good but colour needs improvement
What great shower head! Love the pressure and the feel. The only kicker is the colour is a bit dark. The Delta "champagne bronze" family is varied. We went with this shower head instead of the Delta 58569 model due to it's proximity in colour to the rest of our champagne bronze fixtures and feels way sturdier than the model previously mentioned - for taking off/putting back on. It's mostly magnetic!
