I got both the green whisk stand plus whisk and the green stand on it’s own for use with a matcha whisk I already have. The stands are both a nice quality, with an even glaze and a sturdy feel to them. They look adorable as a matched pair, and are a lovely way to display the whisks if you so choose. I’ll use them to store and dry the whisks, and help keep the shape of the whisks. I really like that they have no inside, no bottom to them, so there’s nowhere for moisture or dirt to get trapped.I’ve only owned one matcha whisk before this one, and I hadn’t realized how out of shape it’d become! Once I put both the old and new whisks on their stands, I noticed just what a big difference there was between them. The new whisk made a thoroughly mixed matcha blend, and is seems well made.I tend to make simple matcha lattes with my matcha powder. I mix ½ teaspoon powder with about ¼ cup boiled water, whisk thoroughly with a matcha whisk, then add ¾ cup hot milk and a bit of honey to taste. Sometimes as a last step I like to froth the latte a little with a handheld milk frother, but that’s optional and mostly just for fun. This whisk made me an excellent latte, and the stand was perfect for storing the whisk after I was done.Product samples provided for evaluation and reviewing purposes.

I was so excited when this product arrived. I have been getting into the Matcha Green Tea trend lately and wanted to see how much better one of the ceremonial type whisks would blend those powders. I must say it is unbelievable.Stirring a powdered tea into hot water with a spoon is a terrible task. I can spend five minutes of straight stirring and never get those little balls of powder dissolved. I was convinced that its just not possible and I would use the tip of a paper towel to grab the balls and take them out of the cup, too much work and a waste of tea. But this whisk does the job 100% and it takes a few seconds.The whisk comes with a small ceramic stand that is designed to spread the whisk out to dry. The ceramic vessel is not a cup. It has an opening one the top and the bottom to no residue collects inside it and it makes it very easy to clean. The entire unit is really a conversation piece. It just looks good and it gave me a little mystical moment when I used it like something out of the Asian Dynasty. I received this product to provide a fair and honest review.
