Birds can no longer eat banana pepper leaves
This is a great item, and the 14x75 is also a good length. We have birds attacking our garden all the time. And they do not give up easily. Last year all my banana peppers were stripped, tomatoes eaten, beans stripped. The birds don't like eggplant leaves so that area is left uncovered. The one think that I have found is that if you stretch it too tightly, the end on the pole splits a bit. So far the birds have not found it. If you cover too loosely the birds use multiple bird body weight to be able to hang on the net and peck through the screen for their delicious morsels. Still trying to work this out! Birds are really wicked. But I'm ordering another one so that any planting will be protected. The price is right and it is black so you don't see it.

Bird-X Netting
I purchased the Bird-X netting from Amazon. It is kind of an ordeal for one person to install the netting. The netting will catch on any buttons, your watch and shoes. Placing the netting directly on grape vines or berries is not good as the vine will grow through the netting and this results in tears when you remove the netting. Also some birds manage to enter the netting and can get trapped if there are any openings. I found it best to construct a framework to drape the netting on. To keep rabbits out you need to weigh down the bottom of the netting with bricks or even make ground stakes using bent hanger wire. It does work as it keeps out birds and rabbits as long as there are no openings in the netting.

It's netting, how could it NOT work?
It works. 14ft is even wider than I expected it to be. The only thing that comes to mind is that it's black and being black it really blends into the background. It almost becomes invisible, as long as the background isn't white. So that's a good thing for aesthetics, but I would think a bad thing for trapping birds. BUT, with that said, I have not had one bird caught in my netting. So they must be able to see it. What else can I say - Oh it sticks to EVERY little crevice, bump, crack, wood splinter etc. So make sure you cut it on the lawn or smooth surface, not on some rugged surface, because it'll attach itself to just about anything. It's not sticky, it just latches itself onto everything.I guess that's all I can say. I personally use it for my blueberries in Massachusetts (good for blue jays and cardinals) for about a month now. It's been very effective. Before i applied the netting, all my blueberries were eaten.

Effective Barrier for Birds and doesn't spoil the view
This was very easy to use. I used 3 decorative metal arches to drape the netting over and used stakes to hold it down. The netting is black and disappears from view when used. It appears that there isn't anything there until you get up close.I had plenty of netting and it is doing the job. I may actually have blueberries this year and not just the birds!UPdate: I did have to rescue a mourning dove and a chipmunk that had slipped under the netting. I did a better job of securing the netting andhad no more incidents. I was able to get a gallon of blueberries this year. I left the netting on over the winter and it is holding up well.

Excellent protection for my Blueberries
I have 6 large blueberry bushes and made a pavilion with 1.5" PVC pipes, and this netting. It was a one day solution to design, purchase, and construct and has been flawless for 2 months. I tied colored nylon tape all along the sides and top so the birds would not get snagged, and I've not had one casualty. In past years, the crows would decimate the berries, ignoring the scare crows, pie tins, or CD-ROMS.

short changed
delivery was quick but over packaged(more airspace than product), Tangles extremely easy but when in place keeps the birds off yet allows bees in to pollinate. squirrels learn how to crawl under.Great product, will use again. beware of length needed! I used this netting on three garden beds, 1 blue berry bed & 2 separate vegetable beds, totaling 68ft of netting. the scrap left over is 2.5ft. 4.5ft short of 75ft. width was not a problem at 14ft. Would recommend

It is what it says it is.
This is wide enough that I am able to make a frame over my blueberries and keep the birds our of half the patch. I let them eat the other half. You need to watch any of these nets. I have had birds get tangled in them and they will die if let too long. They seem to do okay if you use some gloves and release them.
