The longer outside bristles do bend a bit with thick hair, but do bend back a bit. The outer bristles stay cool, but the inner hard ones get very hot. The best part though is how quickly this straightens my curly thick hair, about 10 minutes!! I let my curls air dry, then set to work. Amazing results!!Also, no longer waiting 30 minutes to cool off device...once turned off cools down quickly!!

I got this for my 7 year old daughter who has curly hair in the back, hoping that it would help with tangles. I love it! I like that the bristles do not get hot, the bottom plate does. She will not burn herself if she touches them. It works well to straighten her hair. Not quite as well as a straight iron, but it gets the curls out and it is super easy to use. I have been using it on my hair and it is great.

I have naturally, very fine, jaw length hair and this does a good job of smoothing the frizz after I blow dry my hair. This is faster and easier than using a flat iron, much quicker. I also own the L’ange Duo 360 Airflow Styler which I also like for a nicer look. This brush works well for a more casual look, for me.

This is a must in my bathroom. The bristles are just short enough so that even if you have thin hair, the hot plate will straighten your hair. I’ve used other products where the bristles were too long and the hot plate didn’t even touch my hair because it’s thin. I love this so much that I’ve purchased two now; one for my house and one for my boyfriend‘s house. I use it every day and it’s in great shape. Very sturdy.

I bought this for my daughter who has thick hair with some waves. It doesn’t really straighten her hair, just kind of smooths it. It’s easy for her to use but isn’t something we reach for often when doing her hair.

This is a great brush. I’ve tried it twice now and it works so well. Really smooths out my hair and works better than my flat iron. The heat control works really fast within seconds. I will definitely keep using this heated brush.

I just used this for the first time today, and it is SO easy to use! I shower at night, and wake up with very wavy hair. This brush heated up to 450 degrees in less than a minute, and was very easy to use. I straightened my whole head within 5 minutes (I have shoulder length hair), and it felt easier than using a real straightener. It helps to hold your hair a bit taut over the brush as you pull the brush through your hair.

I have very thick long wavy hair that I often allow to air dry. On the second day of a wash the waves start looking like a frizzy mess. This brush smoothed the nest and was a big time saver.
