These Micro USB to DIP adapters are very useful for circuits, micro usb inputs usually have around 5 volts of voltage meaning this is very good for charging batteries or powering circuits. They are just a pcb with a micro USB SMD on it, simple. Overall, 5 stars for quality and quantity.

Very easy to solder

just needed 1, used to verify purchased micro USB cables were wired correctly, then used a meter with them to adjust the output power from the Dc To Dc Buck Converter into the homemade power cables. Worked great.

It can be difficult to mount USB sockets unless you manufacture entire circuit boards around the surface mount devices. This is a simply solution that breaks out the USB pins onto 0.1" header, or simply to solder terminals. For DIY projects these are an inexpensive and solid solution to an otherwise annoying problem.

These contacts are dull grey.For occasional use these should suffice once you are happy with the contact resistance. If this is something that will be connected and disconnected often then the life of the contacts and resulting resistance variations may drive you crazier. You won't be keeping cables made from these for any future lab work.A stable connection was possible during bench testing but honestly I expected plated contacts. I should have checked more thoroughly before purchasing. The board is convenient to solder the included pins to but next time I will just buy the bare Amphenol or Molex connectors and bring out spare conductors. It's not for rf projects anyways.
