Perfect for Krav Maga
*Full review below*Quality: 9/10The zipper that attaches the bag to the base is tough as nails, but I wish there were some snaps or something to back it up. If it ever broke, the bag would be useless. That's a really nitpicky complaint though. The odds of breaking that zipper are practically zero.Functionality: 8/10Tough, tall, and great for any kind of attack including takedowns. Slide it into a corner to avoid knocking it over.Design and Mobility: 10/10Unlike heavy standing bags with huge sand or water filled bases, this is great for upstairs apartments, wood floors, carpet, and closet storage.Worth the money? Heck yeah.Ok let's think about the design of this real quick. The base is a fancy sandbag that weighs around ninety pounds while the upper portion is basically a solid block of foam around six feet tall that's extremely light. If you're expecting this to feel like a heavy bag, you're going to be disappointed. It's still the best bag I've trained with though, and here's why.I'm a mid-twenties, 180 pound, male, Krav Maga enthusiast. While my punches aren't going to have the same force as a heavyweight boxer, they're not something you'd intentionally want to stand in front of if you can help it, and I needed a bag that could stand up to lots of punishment. However, I live in an upstairs studio apartment, so I can't hang a bag and I don't want to fill a big plastic base with sand or water and get it stuck up here, so a bag I could pull out and then put away was a must. This thing is perfect for that. When I want to do a heavy workout with lots of fast repetitive punches, knees, and kicks, I just slide the bag over into a corner so I wont knock it over. If I want to practice takedowns, ground attacks, or do punching sit ups, I slide it back into the middle of the room. Zipping the bag onto the base took about 45 seconds of awkward squeezing and pushing (would be easier with two people for sure) but other than that it's ready to use straight out of the box. The construction quality is top notch, and the thing looks downright sexy. You're not going to find a better made, or more versatile bag at this price.

Versatile, multifaceted training bag
Excellent training partner. Most, if not all, punching bag systems are not designed for kicking. The bottom of a heavy bag is hard as a brick. At that, not all varieties of kicks can be attempted without risking injury.Assembly is simple. This comes in two pieces. The base is a 110 pound filled bag with a zipper. The body is a foam cored vinyl bag. The user simply aligns the zipper and zips around the base while pushing the protruding foam inside; this is analogous to zipping up some luggage. The whole process took less than 5 minutes, and it's a one person job. It is relatively easy to transport in the same floor, as you can drag this on smooth surfaces. This is a multipurpose training tool. There are straps at the bottom for doing sit-ups or crunches. There are straps at the top for takedowns and grabs. The multitude of kicks can be attempted from the front, side, and back, as well as directing head, ankle, knee kicks. This takes strikes from all angles. The fun thing is that you can do knee, elbow, backhand, hammerfist and ridgehand techniques. In addition, this can be used to practice takedowns and ground and pound techniques. When you punch or kick this. It tends to sway back and forth. Sure, an all out punch or kick will knock it down, but the goal is to kick it with control to minimize the risk of injury. It will sway and rock as you punch it back and forth or side to side.It won't tend to make excessive noise like the water filled punching bags. If you have limited space, you won't have to hang a mount as you would with a heavy bag. Overall, it is the most versatile for most of your boxing, martial arts or other sporting needs. Two thumbs up!

it works....
I waited just about 30 days to review ... i am happy with the purchase.Yes, it has that tendency to "lean" but that is probably due to the shifting sand in the base or the wrap of the zipper system that connects the base to the pad. The lean is mostly on the zipper side. I have stomped on the base bag to see if i can shift the sand around to make it lean another direction. As of now ... dont care; its doing the jobThe bag is meant to be used at all directions ... i do a number of speed punch drills, combo punch drills, kicks, and i have even taken it to the ground. It is scratched and scuffed and it keeps popping back ... i hope that can last many many months. It is not a replacement for a standard heavy bag; the advantage you get is you simulate a target ... you can practice spinning kicks and instead of doing everything on air, you can have a target to strike and expose areas where you are actually not striking hard. combination front kicks is a different experience and slowly i am working to better myself on that.I like that it can be moved to a corner for easy storage.I am giving it 4 stars because i do not have 12 months of use on it, only 1 ... again, i am very happy with the product and i hope in 11 months i can give an updated review to a solid 5 out of 5.
