This tool is very well made and fitted properly for the job. I have a 2025 Toyota Rav4 and also a 2018 Highlander and I just changed the oil on both of them. It's great to have one tool that works equally well for both vehicles. The design is perfect for the Rav4 because there isn't much room on the sides around the filter and when you consider that they come from the factory with the oil filter torqued far beyond what is necessary to discourage the average DIY person from even attempting what should be easy. I’ve been rocking with a universal/variety pack of oil filter wrenches for my past oil changes on my 2022 Toyota 4Runner. I got tired of trying to remember which one is the closest in size. Even then, I worried about stripping the oil filter housing.I decided to get this one. Higher in price than similar tools, but the reviews seemed good. Fit perfectly over the grooves and gave me great confidence that it would not slip and damage the housing. Paired nicely with my 3/8” ratchet with a 3” extension. Not the lightest, but the slightly hefty weight gave some assurance that it was made of quality materials. After loosening the filter housing, I was worried I would need to grab a flat head to pry it off. A little bit of wiggling and it came off easily!Is it weird I’m excited for my next oil change just to use this tool?
