Klein Tools J2100L Offset Left-Cutting Journeyman Snip

If you cut nothing but straight lines go with the Midwests, but nothing cuts tight circles like these Kleins ! Been cutting 8+ holes in plenums 5-6 days a week for two years and these things have stayed sharp; plus plenty of long cuts thrown in for closet units and transitions of course. Only replacing them now since my new helper decided he would try to cut the inner metal wire of flex duct with them..

I like everything about this tool. I also received it on time. Cuts better. Easy to use.

Not really worth the extra cost versus the Midwest snips. I do like them though

better than the stuff on the peg board at Home depot. can even cut 18 gauge. does 22 gauge like paper.

KTOOLCONNECTION ... YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!As a new Journeyman Insulator I have now found the "Cadillac" of snips. I bought the Klein Tools Journeyman Right-Cutting J2101R , Straight-Cutting J2102S, and the Left-Cutting J2100L "Offset Snips" though Amazon. The price was great even with shipping to The Great White North Eh!, it was like getting 3 for the price of 2. The curved handles and Klein blades result in a "very nice feel and an extremely smooth cut. The Wiss and Fat Max I had bought just before these are now used for donating to apprentices, stripping tools or spares.

I was hoping that these snips would be really high quality. Unfortunately the part that matters to me, the blades, are just somebody else's that are rebranded. These look exactly like the ones on my Midwest snips from Sears. There is no engraved, or stamped "Klein Tools" on any of the steel. The only part that says Klein is on the rubber grips. The locking tab does say "Made in USA" but thats it.I could take or leave the curved handles. They don't seem to off any more leverage than the straight ones. So, if paying extra for the handles is worth it to you, than I guess these are worth the money. Other than that, these really are just average, and I would have rated them 2.5 if I could.Update;Been using them for about a month now, and I dropped my rating from 3 to 2 stars. I thought I'd get used to the handles, but I haven't. I like my Midwest snips much better.Update #2;After about 5 months of using these I finally got rid of the curved handles, and replaced them with a regular pair from some old Midwest snips. Much better now, more leverage. There is nothing high quality about these.

Im a midwest guy usually these snips are same quality with a better handle for my smaller hand

Best snips ive ever owned. blows my old Midwest snips out of the water. the offset if perfect and the snips have stayed sharp for a year now and i use them every day on duct work, klein tools are the best.

Great product, cuts great and best snips by far. Sad to say that the grip on them has split pretty easily and I will have to probably tape/glue it back together

Good snips but there are better. Leaves the scrap side of the cut really wavy compaired to other snips. They are sharp and cut with ease.
