Total waste, poor design.
What's good about it? It boils water quickly. It has features to set timers for each burner. Now for the bad.Using ANY pan (I've tried everything from cast iron and Le Creuset to carbon and stainless steels to multi-layer pots that distribute heat) the hobs ONLY heat a 6-8" ring. If you want even heat, you simply can't get it no matter how slowly you bring up the temp. That ring of heat focus and temperature far exceeds any pan's ability to distribute it. Wanna make popcorn? 1/3 kernels will burn before they pop. Pancakes? Gotta rotate each pancake on both sides through the ring of heat to cook the inside edge vs the outside edge. Low heat settings mean scorched inside and uncooked outsides of your pan.Controls are touch. Nice and clean to look at. Except when you clean them...all the controls light up and half your stove turns on with each wipe. Lock the surface, and it beeps like a truck backing up. Then you cook pasta and a drop of water flips out, lands on the controls, and the stove turns all burners off. Quick, reach for a towel, dry it all off, and then you can start cooking again, because with a drop of water there, you can't adjust anything!!
