I Love This
This is such an awesome product. There's plenty of laser levels on the market but this is the only one I could find with vacuum/suction technology that doesn't require adhesive, magnets, or putting a hole into the wall. I'm very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend this product.

Great tool for Hanging stuff on walls
This is a great way to get things up on the walls and straight. We used it to get a long curtain rod up and it was easy to use. I hung a series of pictures as well and got them all straight. The fact it sticks to the wall and keeps your hands frees is a very good feature. For some walls, it did not stick well and I was able to put some tape on the wall and it worked. I used the blue painters tape for this

Great, with a few flaws.
It’s simple to operate and sticks to the wall easily, even allowing minor adjustments if the level is off. I have not tried it on textured surfaces only Sheetrock, which has been painted in either flat or glossy paint. It stays put without issue and seems to be very strong until you turn it off and remove it. It hasn’t left a mark on my newly painted walls at all. Very pleased with those aspects of this product.I can say I did expect it to suction to the wall and once in place it would stay up without running, (not sure why I thought this) but it continues run in order to suction itself to the wall, making an incredibly loud suction/vacuum noise the entire time you use it.Lastly, it stated the laser rounds corners. It does, but only slightly-maybe an inch or two inches at tops. The other laser I had prior, (a Zircon level laser) rounded corners for 5-10 feet, making picture hanging much easier. Unfortunately the Zircon fell off the wall constantly due to the sticky clay like substance used to adhere to the wall. For the price and staying in place when using it I’d say this little Ryobi laser lever is worth it, but the constant sound while using it is very irritating to say the least. Also, I wish it rounded corners much further.

Works like it should. Cool!
I don't think this would be the tool of choice for a real carpenter. But for hanging multiple frames on the wall in a straight line, this was the perfect tool. It does make a humming noise when in use, which appears to REALLY bother some of the other reviewers. But I didn't find that to be a problem. And it took a minute for me to get the batteries loaded correctly, probably due to my eyesight getting worse with age. :) But once I got the batteries in it, it was simple to use and worked perfectly.

Works sometimes
nice idea but the air grip doesn't work on uneven surfaces. i ended up returning it.

Love this thing!
I love this thing. This is my second one in 9-10 years. I don't think there are others out there with a motorized suction cup that automatically releases when you turn it off. It works on most surfaces except maybe on bumpy walls with a lot of texture. Anyway, it's great for hanging large mirrors or picture frames with 2 hooks and lining up multiple picture frames.

Was surprised at the quality
I was hoping this would do what it said it did, and was pleasantly surprised! Like others have said, it's got a really loud motor to suction to the wall, but the laser goes a long distance. Easy to use and so far no complaints. I have not had it long enough to judge on durability.

NOT worth the money
1. The older model of this product you were able to swivel the unit on the wall to get perfect alignment. With the new design, the unit is locked in place. The only way it can swivel is with an included foam attachment 'paper' piece that goes in-between the unit and the wall. A 'band aid' solution to the problem they created when they went with the new design.2. The laser beam is fixed. The original design you were able to rotate it 90 degrees so once the unit was secured in place where you wanted it, you can get both vertical and horizonal beams (one at a time) from the same reference point. Cannot do that with the new design. You have to shut it off, remove it, then reattach it to another surface to get the 2nd line. IMPOSSIBLE to keep the same reference point.3. There is no tripod mount on this item. No place screw the tripod mount into.
