Works fits perfect!
My A/C compressor was about to seize up but I wasn't wanting to replace the A/C unit as I live in a cold state. Never have used the AC. I was hesitant to purchase this but glad I did. The pulley is made from some kind of hard plastic which I thought would break but after a few thousands miles I'm confident it's the perfect item to replace/delete the compressor. Fit perfect on my 1994 GMC Yukon 5.7

It works
I bought this over 5 years ago for my 1993 K1500. It fits perfectly and works well. I got 5 years use out of it before having to replace it now so I’m fine with that for the value. Wish it would last longer but pulleys/bearings don’t last forever.

Regardless of the application guide, this DOES work on the 1989 model k1500 W/5.7 V8
For whatever reason, the fitment guide for this part (on Amazon and everywhere else) indicate that it is not compatible with the 1988 and 1989 model year trucks. They all call for the same AC compressor so this doesn't seem likely, and sure enough it is a direct bolt in on the 1989 K1500 pickup with the 5.7 liter V8 engine. My guess is that it works just as well on the 1988 model year too, but I can't say that I KNOW this for certain. This aside, the part is of good quality although I don't know how long the bearings will last. At this price it's a great alternative to replacing your AC compressor if you aren't committed to making your AC operational again.

Will fit a 1995 gmc 2500, with 454…
I rolled the dice when I bought this to delete AC pump. I emailed Dorman’s, some chick emailed me back, stating that Dorman’s did not carry one for a 454…. A couple of Forums on BBC, search found someone that used this… I don’t know, maybe it won’t work out, maybe the 454 is too powerful for it… kind of doubt it. I’ll keep you posted…

Excellent cost-effective option
Excellent cost-effective option94 K1500 4x4 5.7L. Original size belt. Good replacement option to remove a bad inoperative noisy dragging Harrison A/C compressor. Remove all wires and refrigerant line, use caution if there is refrigerant pressure in the system which you should first properly recover before line removal. 3 bolts to remove the compressor, spray WD on the long bolts at all junction points. Tap compressor to help loosen corrosion. Remove 3 nuts on the back; grab the bolts tightly with Vise Grips and wiggle and nudge back and forth to pull out. Do the top 2 first and then wiggle compressor to loosen the bottom. Note: they cannot spin when all the way in and take note of the “flat” to pull past the compressor pulley. The steel collars should stay within the mounting bracket and will be needed for proper alignment. It helps to remove the top portion of fan shroud being mindful not to lose the radiator rubber insulators on each side. Place a piece or two of cardboard in front of the entire radiator and be careful working not to damage it as you work the bolts out. This kit does not include mounting hardware as it was not needed. Re-use two bolts to mount. Reinstall or replace the belt and then the fan shroud. Tie up the wires n hoses keeping away from exhaust manifold.Check belt Alignment. Very lightweight, plastic pulley, quiet. Thumbs up!

Pleasantly surprised
Installed several weeks ago and I drive long distances regularly and so far no issues with durability. It seems flimsy but its held up well thus far. Installation is a breeze once a/c compressor is out of the way.

Looks Good, Matches Other Pulley’s
Looks like a well-made product, I haven’t installed it yet. I put a serpentine belt assy on my ‘51 Chevy truck. No A/C so no need for the A/C compressor. Should work well.

Easy installation
Popped right in there using the original fasteners. Runs smoothly & quietly, can hear the engine much better now. Only time will tell as to durability.
