I saw this fan but an older model in a patient home. She said she has had it for 3 years so I found this one on Amazon and purchased it. I’m so happy I did, not only is the air flow powerful but it has functions on it to turn the speed down. The fan makes noise, it’s not to loud but you still can hear it. Easy to assembly and quality is perfect.

I did a surprising amount of research before selecting this tower fan, and so far I have not been disappointed. This fan DOES have a high velocity, and it moves a nice amount of air in the room, keeping up a lively breeze. I prefer this tower style, which has a good height, to fans that sit on the floor and have to be angled upward to circulate the hotter air. When set to rotate, the fan sweeps in a wide arc, refreshing the air in the room. This is not a gratingly loud fan, but it IS high velocity, so there is audible “fan noise” if it is on during a Zoom or phone call. Quieter on settings 1 & 2 though. I have not owned the fan long enough to need to disassemble it to clean the blades or filter, but that does not appear to be a user-friendly process, although I will do it anyway when the time comes. This tower fan has a solid, stable base that seems quite unlikely to tip over, as some “tripod” or box fans may. It comes with a remote, which is nice, but I am usually in proximity to the fan when it is on. I like that it can be programmed to run at one, two and four hour intervals. It does not occupy much floor space and has a top handle that makes transport ….well, a breeze. This is a decent item, and I am quite satisfied with the purchase.

Awesome fan. It has amazing power and has lasted me 3 years so far. It is in great condition and works as if it were new. We use it every night and it cools us off so much. The rotating feature is amazing along with the 3 different power settings. Worth the money! Quality is amazing and lasts forever.

The Lasko high velocity fan is a superior fan that we have used for years. This Lasko is a high velocity fan that gives you a strong breeze over 30 feet away. The fan is not quite ,but we use it for "white noise". The "white noise" is a pleasant steady sound to help us sleep. We use the fan almost every night for 8 hours or more and the Lasko fans in the past have lasted many years. The fans require you to install a base to the fan and this item snaps on the base and require no tools and takes about a minute or two to install. The fan is a 3 speed with remote and the unit is attractive and well built.Other Lasko fans are very quite and can be used in a baby's room

The media could not be loaded. Our air conditioning has been having trouble keeping up with the Florida summer heat. This fan was exactly what we needed! Our AC would be set to 74, but running at 81 at the heat of the summer. With this fan, the AC was able to drop 2 degrees, so it definitely does help lower the temperature!The fan has 3 speed settings and can toggle between oscillating and stationary. The fan is STRONG and really does circulate the air well making the room much more comfortable. I would not say it is silent, but it isn’t as noisy as some other fans, making it ideal for sleeping. It also comes with a little remote which is nice!The design in sleek and feels more modern that other fans we looked at, making it versatile to go in the main living room, the garage, or a bedroom. Overall I’m happy with the performance of this product and would recommend it!

I live in southern Florida and had a Lasko floor fan that ran faithfully for many years, so I tried the same brand of wind tower, model 4930. Same experience, long lasting and I loved remote control, now a must! I purchased a second model 4930, but it has had a loud vibration or clatter about 50% of the time. I probably should see if it can be repaired, just a loose part, apparently — but I NEED AIR FLOW!Yes, I have a ceiling fan going, too, and central air. Southern Florida! 😊I was a little confused by the repeated, persistent description of utility use: Garage, basement, or gym. I ordered it anyway because Amazon is great about returns on those rare occasions. It is fantastic with a little larger air flow area. It's better performance, I think, and very quiet. I think it looks sleek (though nearly identical size) and its design is a lot less cluttered and a lot more attractive. (Again, what's with that description?)I did take away a star because the remote control is junk. The buttons are as small as teensy pills and aligned in columnar fashion, so it's easy for a fingertip to mash two buttons — more irritating, the fan was VERY POORLY RESPONSIVE, took multiple efforts. In my case, since I already own two Lasko wind towers, with great relief I found that their remote controls are totally compatible! C'mon, Lasko, you've got to offer a comparable quality remote control for these two models, since they're comparably priced! What is the point of buying this tower, if the control performs woefully poorly?As far as purchasing this wind tower, perhaps you'll be satisfied with the control or the Lasko's customer service will agree to send the better remote control. Talk to Lasko customer service before placing your order? I'm documenting my dissatisfaction in this review. I'd hate to have you pass on this great tower, however.

I have had this fan for about 2 months. Absolutely love it. Works great, functions well. My last Lasko fan lasted for ever. Lasko is a great brand.

awesome powerful fan. We’ll definitely be keeping it for those brutal california summers. The fan is a simple plug in and start in terms of setup. Although it does oscillate the angle is pretty limited about 90-120° rotation. Fan is pretty well sized and light for how tall it is which makes it a great space saver. We used to have an industrial floor fan to help cool spaces in the home since we don’t have AC however this somehow small but mighty fan blows more air than our industrial fan.
