Great mirrorAt 10” I thought this mirror would seem small, but it happens to be the same size as my factory mirror. The fit is clean, but I did have to use both rubber straps that is comes with to make it tight and ensure not too much stress was on the single strap. In the package, a great addition was the plastic trim tool. With the tool I was able to easily hide the wires behind my plastic trim. I did not even feel the need to snap a photo for this review because the wires are gone. Installing a micro SD is easy but you do have to make sure it is formatted in FAT32. My SD card was not but I reached out to the company and they send me instructions on how to change my format because Windows 10 took that capability away. They answered me by email within 2 hours!This dashcam and mirror has a ton of settings to get the picture just right. The front camera is on a swivel ball, so it is easy to get the right shot in front. There is also an electronic adjustment to make small corrections up and down. Adjusting the contrast of both cameras is critical to ensuring the screen is bright enough in the daytime, I got them correct and was surprised at the clarity using brightness and contrast settings. The rear backup camera does take some getting used to, the objects are farther away than they appear, so parking is a little different that using my normal reverse camera. I included a photo from the same spot to show the difference.I am very happy with this camera and all of the adjustments available. The view is clear, and the recordings look great, I set it to 5-minute loop recordings. I can view the recordings in the camera from the mirror if I want a quick look at the recorded footage. I can look at both the front and rear cameras in a split view while driving. The camera will automatically turn on a reversing guide when the car is in reverse and depending on where you mount your camera it could be perfect. My perfect spot was already occupied by a camera already. I like that the reverse camera wire was long enough for my car and I had some wire to spare.I recommend this dash cam/reverse cam for anyone and I like the price! I don’t think springing for a 4k version would be worth it, the camera can read license plates in front and rear that your eye can see and it captures the right amount of information for what it is designed to do.Last note - For some reason Amazon will not allow me to upload the photos of the dash cam in action. I hope my description helps you! I am really satisfied with this purchase, more so than I thought I would be.

To be honest I was not expecting the quality to be as good as it is. I originally bought this product to review on my YouTube Show. For the price I figured that it would be cheep and buggy... BUT WAS I EVER WRONG! For anyone with basic radio installation experience installation will be a breeze. I had to drill two small holes in my bumper just above the license plate and behind the lift gate seal on our Ford Flex. The only other technical knowledge you would need to know is how to find the positive reverse light wire in whatever side of the car you run your cable on and that is it. Basic wire tucking and hiding skills finish the job. I was worried about there being enough cable to go from the back of our Ford Flex to the front as it is a long vehicle. I worried for nothing as I had over 12" left to tuck away.Total installation took me 2 hours only because I was filming the install. If I was not doing that I estimate it taking about an hour if you had all your tools handy. I used a drill and drill bit, 3/8" socket to remove two pillar covers in the car, a small Phillips head screw driver to adjust and tighten the rear camera, and the handy pry tool that is included with the Dash Cam to help tuck cables back behind rubber seals.Camera Quality through both cameras is AMAZING, and the Touch Screen is real clear. As with any screen light glare can't be helped but you can set the brightness so it was not even an issue with me. The unit itself acts like a monitor for the cameras and has a reflective finish so that when you are not using the back up feature or reviewing footage the unit acts just like the mirror you mounted the unit to.I am sure anyone wanting to be nit picky could find faults with this. There is an assumption that you know basic installation techniques. If you don't you should consider asking for help by a professional or that friend that is good with radios. As for learning the features and how it operates the user manual is well worth the read as you sit in your car playing with the settings.A NOTE NOT COVERED IN THE USER MANUALl. You may get some excessive shaking of the unit while driving that makes it hard to use it as a rear view mirror. DON'T WORRY, to remedy this you just need to make sure the rubber straps holding the device to your original mirror are as tight as possible. You might need to stretch the rubber strap to the next latch. Such as the case in our car. Once I did this shaking went away.I recommend the VanTop H609 Dual 1080P Mirror Dash Cam to anyone. wanting to record what is in from or behind them as they drive and to have rear view help when reversing. It is great value for the money spent.

I have it installed in my Yaris yesterday and wow what an item. The display is amazing, options are amazing. Its two in one feature is fantastic i.e. dash cam and reverse camera. I highly recommend this item.The only thing which needs improvement is reflection during day time apart from that every thing is amazingGreat Product. !
