Trust me, I'm a chef
I am a professional chef...in my mind, and in my own home. This makes me uniquely qualified to state that this is the best knife (silent k FYI) that I've ever used. The first one I had lasted about 5 years of being washed & dried in a dishwasher before the handle finally split, but that's on me - the knife blade itself is still pristine. For the price, it can't be beat, and again, I am a 3 Michelin star chef, based on my wife's reviews and that I'm good at making meal kits and I've watched The Bear. Trust me, buy it.

Cheap but good
Good to practice on how to sharpen knifes I teach my cooks at work how to use a wet stone and this is the knife I use so I don’t feel bad if they trash it

Effective knife but not durable.
The handle cracked after just a couple uses/washes (hand washed). It's still intact but for how long? It's also a bit thicker than it has to be, thus might be difficult to wield if you have small hands. That said, it cuts, although not the sharpest knife in the world. So far the edge has held up but I haven't used it that many times. The weight is balanced. Its appearance is nice but the laser etching gave me the impression it was a Damascus before placing my order because I wasn't reading carefully enough. There's a hint of rust after leaving it in the drained sink with other items. Overall, it's an effective knife for the time being.
